Just a 5 to 10 mins free shuttle from JFK. Driver were polite and helpful. Checking in were extremely fast. We reached the hotel about 10am and it stated 3pm checking in. The front desk politely gave us the room. Room were clean and huge. Breakfast were great. Much better than i expected. Plenty of choices. Highly recommend for this hotel

I was checked in by an absolute dream of a member of staff, Sharon, she was perfection, so jolly and helpful! Extended my check out, said hello and was jolly each time I saw her and it was clear that this wasn’t forced and it was her natural personality!

John F. Kennedy International (JFK) Airport Information
Location and Transport
Better known in its abbreviated form of ‘JFK’, John F. Kennedy International Airport sits just under 20 miles (30 kilometres) from Manhattan. To reach the city, hop on a JFK AirTrain; there are three lines which stop at every terminal and various rail and metro stations around the city. The MTA NYC Bus is the cheapest way into Manhattan, but also the slowest. Catch one from Terminal 5 and expect a journey time of around 50 minutes.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
Plenty of hotels and motels are dotted around the outskirts of JFK, and many offer courtesy shuttles to and from the airport. If you’re feeling hungry then the airport’s food court provides a wide variety of tasty options.
Terminal Information
The airport’s eight terminals are quite spread out, but the free AirTrain shuttle makes it easy to travel from one to the other. Just remember that the service is only free when travelling between terminals. Passengers with connecting flights may be required to pass through immigration – a passport, visa or ESTA may be necessary.

There wasn't much that I liked about this hotel.
There wasn't much that I liked about this hotel. The hotel service was really bad. It was 25 degrees outside and cold in the hotel on one side of the room by the window. The heater was barely heating to my satisfaction and all I had was a thin cover. I asked the attendant at the desk for a blanket, and he looked at me as if I was from another planet. He suggested that I turn the temperature to the ideal setting of 78 degrees. The heater worked for a while and then it wasn't as effective later in the morning. I would suggest better service and a blanket at least.

You don’t get a bathroom for your room.
You don’t get a bathroom for your room. You are supposed to use a shared bathroom with three other rooms. The place is dirty, with hairs everywhere and piles of things. There was no top sheet on the bed. No towels. The walls are paper thin and you can hear noise from the other rooms. I left. This place should not be on Booking.com and I am shocked they have it listed.

For me, this hotel was adequate to spend the night in order to catch a flight the next morning. I think it was overpriced for the room with it's non-functioning lamps and a sink that didn't drain well. At least it came with an airport shuttle and continental breakfast. The cleanliness was a little questionable but it was dark and difficult to see. The night reception staff were not very friendly but they were courteous and check-in was quick and easy through booking.com. The only "food" places that were open when I arrived at 8 pm and just next door were a Burger King and a Popeye's.

Arverne is up and coming since the new houses went up.
Arverne is up and coming since the new houses went up. There are also more eating-out options available than ever before. I know this neighborhood well, I lived here for like 15 years. The convenience of having the beach a block away and public transportation also a block away is a definite plus. There are some areas one might want to stay away from but it is getting better.

modest but good accommodation for visiting New York we stayed for 6 nights very quiet location with two metro stations and a bus station from which you can go to all parts of New York also a good direct connection to JFK landings in the immediate vicinity several markets and places to eat the nights were surprisingly quiet
The communication with the apartment manager was very good, he was helpful and available if we needed anything, the check-in was smooth, there was a girl waiting for us who gave us directions and keys.

The hotel decor was classy and upmarket, and the hotel and area felt safe and secure. The staff were friendly and made our stay special. The location was extremely close to two subway stops, and also close to others. It was well positioned to walk around lower east side and further. It was great to have free coffee in the mornings, and the option to spend the room tax in the cafe which served croissants and cake. Super easy access from/to JFK using the J train and Airtrain.

Based on some other reviews I almost cancelled this hotel. However I am really glad I didn’t. I upgraded to the renovated room and it was perfect. This was my first time in New York and I had been told that hotel rooms can be small. This was a generous sized room. Nice clean timber floors. Black out blinds. And very convenient in terms of getting to and from JFK as well as all tourist attractions.
