Reception staff on arrival were fantastic. Amazingly friendly and felt like they could not do enough.
Gym was good, location good but staff were outstanding. The whole family enjoyed breakfast.

Really nice historic place with a special ambiance. One and only interior style which was made possible by the very talented lady of the house. Gentleman of the house definitely made it more entertaining with a small "show off" of the house.

The wifi network is extremely poor. I could not use it to make a call on phone without interruption. It was terrible connecting the wifi to my laptop. They serve the same breakfast every day. They need to update the key security to new one. Each room should have a unique security code. I notice that one key can open all doors to every room which make it significantly unsafe. The location of the hotel makes it easy to access both East Haven and New Haven with ease. There are some supermarkets around the hotel and cheap dollar tree supermarket to buy basic things. The rooms are clean, and the cleaners are always available to clean the rooms. They serve the same breakfast everyday which i think is not good enough.

The room was not very clean.
The room was not very clean. We had no internet service, the Tv did not work. The bathroom was dirty. The towels were the size of hand towels not big enough to dry off. The shower handle was broken. The fact that the motel charged us twice after we left was not acceptable at all. I had to file for a refund. We did get our money back, but it was a hassle. I will never return to another place like this

New Haven is a great place to visit. Known for great pizzas (Pepe, Sally, Modern, Ernie’s) great schools, nice restaurants from Sandra Next Generation , Kool Breeze, Archie Moore, Brazi) just to name a few! great atmosphere, different cultures, Peabody museum for families, Schubert, long wharf theatre, Yale theatres and museum, nice and friendly! Easy access to 91 and 95 highway.

We stay here every year for a couple of jobs that we do that are in the area. Sometimes two to three times a year. It's not the fanciest hotel. But it is definitely not the worst that we've ever stayed in. And for the price, it's good enough for us to sleep. Because that's really all we do there

It's good for a night, but not for an extended stay.
It's good for a night, but not for an extended stay. Much repair work is needed in the rooms, though the bed was stable and comfortable. But lighting is inadequate; furniture needs to be recycled, really in tough condition. Bathroom needs updating, with a remedial work needed. The shower works well, though. The fitness room is subpar: no elliptical, only a treadmill. And weight bench with limited dumbbells. That's it.

We went to visit Univ of New Haven. Hotel was ok, but the price was great. There were many food options within 10 mins. The area was not so nice. Very run down, very dirty and seedy.
Univ of New Haven was tucked into a residential neighborhood that was very unsightly and we felt it flowed over into the University. The University seemed old, dated and in bad need of a face lift

Everything was good except, the unit was advertised as a one-bedroom verses a studio, but there was no door to the bedroom, and was one room. I think that description needs to be changed. Otherwise, location, and unit worked out great.

It was messy, run down, garbage was overflowing out of a huge dumpster outside my window, the fitness room was locked and filled with matresses and over garbage. This little fitness area was the reason I chose this place over other places and they chose to use it for storage. The bed nakes a noise like hitting a metal drum when I sit on it or move. There are no other room available and I'm stuck. I feel like the property is representing itself falsely and Booking.Com doesn't do a good job varifying the state of the properties they put on their site. I've been fooled out of my money.!

I check in for two.nights and bring a guess voucher for one night they end up changing me for the free night, , I call the mng name Robert send him all proof of the over charge and he refuse to do a refund even know he get all proof , no room service no clean towels or bed change I had to go shopping for towels . Its unfair to pay for a Hotel thinking it's the best costumer service and they fail you like this .
