Staff was very friendly, very helpful. I only got coffee, fruit & a muffin every day & took it back to my room.
I thought there was a good selection though, especially since there wasn’t an extra charge for it.

I stayed at the Westin at the Bridge Street area two weeks ago for quite a bit more money than this hotel, and this hotel out-shined the Westin by-far.
New construction, VERY clean room, and a very enjoyable visit. I will definitely be back!!

Good quality fittings in the room. Very clean and comfortable. Warm welcome from staff. Located near to shops, restaurants and a bar. Close to highway but reasonably quiet. Good choice of food at breakfast although I only had coffee and toast.

Went down for tailgate which was a lot of fun, the traffic was a bit much, slow moving, everyone seem nice, the weather was perfect for the time of year even though it was a little chilly after the sunset , will definitely be back to visit again

We had never been to Decatur before but chose it as a good...
We had never been to Decatur before but chose it as a good stopover point on our road trip home from the beach. We new Big Bob Gibson's BBQ was there and figured that was a good reason to choose Decatur. What we found was a very well done downtown area with lots of restaurants and shops and lots of people having a good time! The area was very safe, clean, and walkable. There was also an event going on at the arts center that unfortunately was rained out later. We will be making this a regular stop.

The botanical gardens were great and the Galaxy of Lights show was very nice. The space center was nice also. We didn't have kids, but the ones we saw were really into it. The traffic around the highways was heavy and could be confusing if you don't use a map app. We were there near Christmas though, so that could be part of it.

The staff here is not focus on the customer. Our room had 5 power failures in two days we had to unplug all we used . Several lights in room did not work at all. We ordered a mobility room We got that but had to assemble bench toe place in tub found it laying under the sink . Was dirty had to clean then clap to bathroom tub . The heat came on then the ac kick on after lower and raise temps to off set . Shower curtain does not go around bench seat so water floods bath room floor . No trash or towel replacements for three days had to go desk to get . If you can fine so one there numerous times no one around . Gave list of faults of room to front desk cleak response I'm getting off will leave a note for mgr coming on . Not once said I'm sorry even when I called for no power they had to reset breakers . You would assume someone might say sorry for in convenient. Two of three days the response was what are u plugging in . We were gone most of the days had to turn lights on to see at night unable to charge or use any outlet . Response on last night at 11 pm was I can't reset breaker anymore will have to move to another room if it happens again advise we are leaving in 5 hrs why didn't u say that 3 days ago ! My wife confine to limited walking and standing on oxygen 24/ 7 . The employees reflect on how this hotel is run . Strongly suggest find another

I really enjoyed going to visit, had a family reunion. It was really nice out there. We enjoyed going to the water park. Kinda expensive but it was worth it for the most part. I would definitely go back. While Decatur was fun, the motel sucked. Gave our reserved rooms to someone else. With me being disabled I was forced to either climb the stairs to the 2nd floor or find somewhere else to go. Then found unsafe items in the couch bed that my minor child slept in.

The people are extremely nice!! Everywhere we went. People were so nice to us and so helpful. The restaurants the stores no one was rude. It was very refreshing to be somewhere where the people were so nice. If you’d love to eat, there’s a restaurant everywhere. I love coffee. I didn’t have a hard time finding a coffee shop anywhere but if you wanna get around, you definitely need your GPS. It is a great place for a family to visit. there’s lots to do.

You get what you pay for.
You get what you pay for. The property is cheaper than many other hotels located closer to Huntsville, but you only receive adequate/bare essentials when it comes to hotel comfort and services. Although, the free shuttle service to and from the Huntsville Airport (which is around 7 minutes away from the hotel) was quite useful.

Lots of variety in eateries by the city hall campus. Lovely park like grounds. One problem is the very active commercial train. It can hold you up for a while… like more than 15 minutes waiting time behind the tracks.

I loved the atmosphere in Huntsville, the people were so inviting, all around town the consideration for one another was felt. I had a car rental from Avis car rental in Huntsvilles airport; which was such a Godsend because it was easier to get around. The streets were mapped out very well and the scenery is breathtaking, the streets were very wide and the green trees were just outstanding.
