You can reach all the shops and restaurants easily and fast and nature is never far away. It's a beautiful and comfortable place, extremely clean and cozy. The lodge (kitchen and living room) felt as if you were staying in a friend's home. While we didn't utilize them, there were barbecues and picnic tables out front, and fire pits on the beach (right across the street). DirecTV available, plus an assortment of movies available to watch. Cute little red squirrels, hummingbirds just on the other side of the glass windows, and eagles as well as other wildlife in the trees and waterways. The perfect location - between the lake and downtown. The cherry on top, though, was Katy, the caretaker! A bundle of exuberant energy; a new lifelong friend!
