The description of the house was right on the money: unique and retreat-like! It was so peaceful, and superbly decorated that it was a joy to be inside as well as be outside sampling the delicious seafood and pizza of Mystic & Groton, CT. Such a scenic area with many great choices of things to do, that we just have to come back. Hope was attentive to any concern and she has thought of every need a vacationer could have. Excellent rental!

I like the Hotel for its location close to my Mothers Apartment and the cleanliness of the hotel. I stay there every time I come down to Mothers. I did not appreciate the price I paid this time for my room.
I didn’t get into town until 2:30am on Sunday morning.

We were initially a bit worried about this hotel due to not so super good past ratings, but still gave it a shot as it fitted the location we wanted to be at during this night.
At the end we were very happy with our choice:
Despite ordering just a single room, we could a significant free room upgrade to a full suite with two bed rooms and a balcony which was really nice.
The very friendly staff also mentioned that they are currently renovating all rooms.
In general, for us it was very good value for money and would recommend based on our experience.

We did not feel safe, people were always hanging outside of the door watching as we came and left. We asked to change homes to a different part of the property and we're told that we could not because of the type of booking it was. The beds were not comfortable. Room was very small.

The Mystic Seaport was fascinating and my friend and I had an ideal day for touring the various places on site. However, one day is not enough to do it justice, particularly if one can't walk for hours on end. We took an hour or so break for lunch to rest our feet/legs and returned mid afternoon to see some of the interesting temporary exhibits. We did not see everything the venue has to offer. The docents we encountered were friendly and informative. We plan on seeing the Mystic Aquarium as well.

Cute town and shops. Beaches in Waterford/ niantic area charge $16 per person for nonresident to walk onto beach or $55 a car. Rocky neck beach is down the road and free if you are a Connecticut resident

I actually came to visit with people in a nearby town, not Ledyard. I came to see and spend time with family and at the shoreline. I actually did not get a chance to spend any time at the casino as I had plans the entire weekend with my family members. If you stay in this area, there is so much to see and do! Not only is there a lot to do in Ledyard, but surrounding towns as well, Stonington, Mystic, Pawcatuck, Westerly/Misquamicut/ Watch Hill so many restaurants, steak, seafood, a huge selection! There is entertainment both at the Casino and elsewhere and the beautiful coastline/beaches.Many quaint little shops are available, a beautiful park in the center of Westerly behind a gorgeous library. There is just so much to do every time I visit!

Hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We liked having two queen beds that were separated by a small kitchen island. Loved the window seat. Beds were comfortable. Pillows were too hard and high for us. Location was great for our visit to the Sound and Casino.

Empty shower soap dispenser, bathroom door designed not to close all the way, unpadded swivel chair that schreeches when moved,poor breakfast due terrible sausage and tasteless scrambled eggs (powdered?) frozen stiff bagels and only one waffle iron; loud and crude female day manager; unexplained fire alarm at 4 am!

While the town is a bit run down, the scenery surrounding it is beautiful as is the coast. Ocean Park beach is not to be missed. There are good places to eat, fun places nearby to visit, and some wonderful hispanic bakeries (Oven On!)

Love this little town! Lots of places to eat, great atmosphere, safe and clean. Close to so many day trip options like Providence, New Haven, Sleepy Hollow, Tarryton and Newport! We loved eating at Mystic Pizza and Jeramiah’s!
