The Hospitality and the approach of the team was amazing... the staff was very friendly... The manager was just too good and her team of Rehana, Cindy, House Heeping head Tameka were just very very good and kind.

Our stay at Memorial Field Lodge was great. On the morning before our arrival, Ryan sent a welcome text with the instructions on how to get into the unit, Wi-Fi information, and everything that we would need during our stay. Each bedroom having its own private bathroom was a huge bonus! With the ring hook toss game and the classic arcade table (along with cornhole boards that we didn't get to use because of the snow), this unit had everything to keep us entertained during our stay! We will look forward to booking another stay for the next trip to Bloomington!

It's a college town, so a lot of diversity in restaurants, cultures, people, etc. Lovely campus to walk around. Kirkwood Avenue, Fourth Street, and the town square provide about any dining experience you could imagine. The town is both quaint and modern, and the surrounding area has beautiful forest, water, and hilly landscapes.

Wonder Lab is a must with kids. Stay on Big Oak Trail to catch the path to the rest area with the bathrooms— the open field trail is actually a route to Homestead Trail and Authorized Personnel Only zones. It is NOT marked on the map— if you have small kids, this is a pretty costly error. Follow the path to the right back into the woods. Do not swim in the lake— it is freezing on a good day, and they have a blue/green algae problem. Osprey outlook is great, bring small stones if you want to skip rocks. Homey Hot Pot is a fantastic restaurant with a cheap public parking garage attached. We were treated very well there. Everything is within very reasonable driving distance.

Went into Bloomington for dinner one night at Mother Bears pizza, food was good like always.
