Located in Augusta, Maine, this hotel is a 10-minute drive to the historic national monument, Old Fort Western. The hotel features a full-service spa and Cloud 9 restaurant. This is the 3rd review I've done on this stay. I'm not sure why. But for the 3rd time. Senator Inn is lovely, clean, and with nice curtious staff. Pool is amazing and flowers around the inn are absolutely beautiful, especially the geraniums outside the pool area. Pillows could stand to be replaced. But the inn gets all 10's otherwise. My second stay and would stay again without hesitation. Thank you to all the staff who work so hard to make the Inn lovely.

Located within 4.1 km of Old Fort Western and 21 km of Maine State Museum, Best Western Plus Augusta Civic Center Inn provides rooms in Augusta. The staff was absolutely friendly, and accommodating. The room was clean, and breakfast was delicious. We didn't stay too long in the room, but it was nice and comfy. The lobby was warm (we stayed during December) and welcoming, and everything was neat and organized. The bathroom was also very nicely done, clean with plenty of towels. Shower was easy to use and very roomy.

Boasting a fitness centre and views of river, Hallowell Rooming House is a homestay set in a historic building in Hallowell, 4.7 km from Old Fort Western. Tiny but full of character. Best of all the toilet has a Japanese bidet. The kitchen has many appliances. The gym is small but more than sufficient l I like all they put fans and TV to face different cardio equipment. Well thought out!
