The layout of the house is perfect for family time together. The pool is stunning and lying on the sun loungers was very relaxing. The view of the mountains is beautiful
. You definitely need to hire a car to get around though, it's very remote from shops and beaches.

Great food, great entertainment. Mixed experience of hotel staff - some were very helpful and some weren't. Great facilities for families and young children. Rooms need to be refreshed. Pool area around the toddlers pool was very slippy.

We liked the tranquility of it all away from the hustle n bussle. But with the option of just being a boat ride away from it if we wanted to. We chose not to. We had everything we needed lovely home grown home cooked food and wine. Would highly recommend

The nearby village had a supermarket and useful shops, which were much cheaper than those in the hotel. The village was just over 10 10-minute walk. We bought some toys for kids and nappies.

It is near Dalaman airport, easy to get there and taxis are very convenient. The beach was perfect, just in front of the trees a sandy beach. We were able sunbqth under the trees with a nice breeze. Very beautiful nature.

We stayed in Dalyan, which is a peaceful and beautiful place. Don't make the mistake of staying in Ortaca itself; though close to Dalyan (and, weirdly, lumped together on Booking.com) it is more developed and not nearly as nice.

Beautiful location with a great array of restaurants. Dining next to the river or taking a boat trip are great ways to spend your time.
No beaches unless you travel by boat which is very reasonably priced.
Friendly locals, with a can do attitude to please.
A few English type pubs but easy enough to avoid. And not the beer swilling, tattooed lot that most avoid.
Definitely worth a visit.

The hotel is close to Dalaman Airport & offered a transfer to the airport for a reasonable price. Our flight left early in the morning, so staying close to the airport was our priority. The hotel room was small but definitely suited our needs. It is a lovely family run hotel. We had a delicious Turkish dinner but left before breakfast, so cannot comment on the quality of the breakfast food.

Good choice if you just want to spend the night. We've spent the night till our check in in our holiday hotel in Fethiye. It is 5-10 mins drive from the Dalaman Airport and it's a very small family guest house, converted modernly from a village house. The staff is very helpful, they waited us at the airport although our flight was delayed more than 1.5 hours. The AC was working well.
