One beautiful city to visit with lots of clean beaches, lots places that can be a one day trip. Lots of little islands that's not to far and very clean not to packed. I like this area because it is a short distance to the hustle and bustle of Pattaya or Jomtien, but it is quieter and less expensive. If you're looking for a party atmosphere, this isn't it. But if you're looking for laid back bars and restaurants and affordable hotels and vacation rentals near the beach, it's great.

You can use 'bolt driver app' to get around.
You can use 'bolt driver app' to get around. But drive yourself to beaches because they are on navy land. Hard to get driver to come to beach and pick uou up. Pay 50 -100 baht per person plus 20 baht per car. Sea Princess is next to 7/11 , steak house and a few outdoor thai stalls and cafes.

Going to be staying here for a lot longer periods of time! Suits me as an older person-if you want the bright lights -they are a short drive away ( 20mins) -Local bars close at 12 at night. The area is busy during the day but not near the condo! Food at the Globe was really tasty and the fare on the beach at the Seaside restaurant yummy and well priced!

If you want to eat something, don't find restaurants on the mainstreet, you should find food in small streets. Just go through the road you'll find some restaurants along, and the food is good and cheap. It seems that a lot of Russians choose this place to reserve hotels. The menus and ads are in Thai, mostly in Russian and Chinese. It surprised me that English is not always included. Here is half an hour to the city of Pattaya. Fee of taking grab taxi is around 200 baht. The best way to stay here is laying by the side of hotel swimming pool.
