Our room was fabulous 2 bathrooms, a lounge area and an upstairs bedroom. It was absolutely perfect. I’ve not got a single fault to this place! If I am ever back visiting samui I will be staying again!!!

There are only two bungalows facing the beach and they are AMAZING!! We did not want to leave our hotel. Some of the other rooms looked nice too but faced the garden walkway. One bungalow faced a concrete wall. You get what you pay for. Loved this place so much.

We had an extraordinary stay at Villa Samayra - truly the No.1 luxury villa experience in Koh Samui. The property is stunning, with uninterrupted sea views and a peaceful ambiance that instantly makes you feel at home. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and beautifully maintained.
A special mention to Yanisa and Palm, who were exceptional throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and proactive service made everything seamless. Every request was taken care of even before we asked.
The food deserves its own praise- the chef’s dishes were remarkable, turning each meal into a five-star dining experience.
Overall, Villa Samayra exceeded every expectation. Highly recommended for families or groups looking for world-class comfort, privacy, and unmatched luxury in Koh Samui.

We spent our vacation staying with family at a truly exceptional resort. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every moment was a pleasure, from the incredibly diverse and delicious breakfasts to the spotlessly clean rooms and grounds. The breathtaking views were enhanced every day, and the availability of amenities like yoga and the gym added the perfect balance to our stay. Without hesitation, I’d recommend this place to anyone seeking a beautiful setting paired with outstanding hospitality.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui.
Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning.
That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Very close to the airport, 10 min by car, perfect for the first few days on the island or the last few prior to departure.
Next time i will stay the first 5 days here to get off the jetlag, and the last 2 day before heading out.
the ferry to koh phangan is, depending on the hotel, in walking distance.

I love it here . Has everything and anything.
I love it here . Has everything and anything. For me I like the beach , the restaurants, the markets and am happy to do that all day at one of the beach front bungalows. But there is plenty of night life if you want it . A lively place, lovely locals, easy to go other places on the island with taxis . The beach is beautiful. Warm water . Food and drinks along the beach .lots to see and do in the town. So many restaurants to choose from . Capybara cafe is so funny had a great time there . The night markets are great

Great location, generally quiet, but there were jet ski’s available which spoiled the peacefulness. Gently sloping beach so going in the sea was straight forward. Good selection of bars and restaurants.

The Fisherman's Village was fantastic.
The Fisherman's Village was fantastic. No car or scooter access at night made for lovely walks along the street, seeing the markets and bars and restaurants in relative peace. Plus none of the typical sleazy Thai bars/clubs.

I wouldn't go back.
I wouldn't go back.
I was so disappointed by Koh Samui, I thought it was a nice place to go but aside from beautiful beaches and the views from the mountains, its really rough and run down.
Chaweng itself is like Magaluf. The strip is awful. But if you like that then you'd probably like it but not being a drinker or a partier I really hated it.
We did however eat at some really great restaurants all over Koh Samui
