One of the best places to visit in whole Thailand.
Easy going island, if you are looking for beautifull beaches where you can relax without mass tourism and nonstop party, than this is your place.
The Wiman Andaman has completely new comfortable bungalows right next to the beach, with breathtaking sunsets.
The owner Mr. Daeng is a very very hearty person who will do everything so that his guests have everything they need and feel at home.
He opened the place only couple of weeks ago and is working very hard to make it a paradise for everyone.
He can book your ferry tickets, organize fishing trips on his boat and he rents a couple of scooters.
Be prepared that on Ko Chang island nobody speaks much english so have your google translator ready...
We are coming to Thailand regularly for the last 15 years and Wiman Andaman is definitely a place to come back. We loved it!

The Vibe: chilled out, great music played every evening. Meals on offer were great - pay by donation. The people were the main thing that made this place great. The sunsets over the sea were incredible.

This total private bay is a bit difficult to reach, but totally worth to go the extra mile. The hospitality of the staff makes you feel like a family member, not a guest. Accomondation is very basic but spending the day in a hammock or explore bay, beach and sea makes up for that. Perfect place for some quiet and lazy days. Expect no luxury but yout basic needs will be catered. If you look for a beach experiance like Thailand 20 years ago look no further.

Fon and Nui’s little piece of paradise is very unique, even in the context of Koh Chang. The bungalows are new, very clean, and super comfortable. Their garden is flawless, you can see how much love and care is invested in it. The restaurant is also great, everything we ate was delicious, including the great smoothies. Looking forward to be back soon!

I've known Koh Chang for a very long time.
I've known Koh Chang for a very long time. The island beauty, quiet and lack of distraction were always the best things about it. In recent years efforts to 'upgrade' are evident, with more roads making more of the island accessible and exploitable. The island is changing, but right now it's still a great escape from the modern chaos. Good food is easy to find, and for tourists still not really expensive.

Koh Phayam is a beautiful and chill island.
Koh Phayam is a beautiful and chill island. There is no crazy party culture like on a lot of Thailand's popular islands, but there are amazing, kind, open-minded people (lots of backpackers, also remote workers) and every night you can find a party somewhere, in case you crave one. The island offers beautiful beaches and lots of cute cafes and restaurants. You can either rent a bungalow or a dorm room (I 100% recommend Tropical Hostel). The fun thing about Koh Phayam is that you can get anywhere on the island within 20 minutes on your motorbike, making discovery of the island very accessible. It's a beautiful small community and quickly feels like home.

We (my wife and I) booked or 4 days to check it out. Overall we stayed a good 2 weeks, but in other locations that you can find for cheaper. We loved the island for its beauty and laidbackness. It is a great alternative to the tourist hotspots, for families with kids, couples, travellers, and to a certain extent also nightlife-lovers with some weekly parties of Reggae, Techno/House, Psytrance occurring...of course no comparison to Ko Phangan and mainly old freaks retiring here ;-)
