The staff were very lovely, helpful and so friendly. The apartments are located just a short distance from the Central Shopping mall, and their are plenty of food and drink eateries nearby.We really enjoyed our stay here and will come back again to stay next year. It was great value for money and also dog friendly.

Check-in was smooth and the receptionist spoke basic English. The room has all the usual basic amenities: 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 bottles of shower gal, 2 bottles of shampoo, cotton buds, shower cap, 5-6 hangers, hair dryer, 2 bedroom slippers, mini fridge, kettle and 2 cups. 4 comfortable pillows and clean sheets. Perfect for my 1-night stay. The air-conditioning was strong and cooled the room fast (but you can turn up the temperature or switch to fan mode if you are afraid of the cold). WiFi in the room was stable and fast. The neighbourhood was quiet for the night I stayed and I had a good rest. There is a security guard at the entrance who is actively doing his work, checking on cars that stopped at the entrance and greeting us when we returned to the hotel past midnight (in short, I felt safe!) There was a male receptionist at the front desk at night too. There is a well stocked 7-11 just across the street. I'll be returning if I were to visit Khon Kaen again!

I had been trapped in Khon Kaen for about 2 years during Covid when Australia would not allow citizens to return. I made many friends there and really got to like the place and its people. Now I revisit it about 3 times a year.

Located in the North East, it is a gorgeous burgeoning city that while decent sized, doesn't feel too big like Bangkok. The warmth of the Isaan people is palpable. Plenty of rural traveling there & a few outstanding gold courses.

The terrace on 8 floor, big enough with 3 tables, 12 chairs and overlooking the lake and park, very nice, which is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The gym is next to the terrace! The Central Plaza mall is 15 minutes taxi ride. The mall is very nice with 5 floors, got most of things you need, my favorite of the mall is Food Park on the 4th floor, anything you want to eat and very good, very affordable if you are Westerners, very spacious sitting areas. The restrooms are very clean, plenty, easy to locate.

A clean, safe, and affordable hostel. The owner was very helpful and passionate about Khon Kaen. The rooms were quiet and the air conditioning worked well. The female dorms are upstairs and locked with key card access which made me feel safe 😊 highly recommend Punsuk for anybody visiting KKC.
You can also buy water, noodles, and coffee in reception for 10baht each. Laundry available onsite for 50baht (+20b for detergent) very central location but I’d recommend hiring a scooter to fully enjoy all the cafes and spots in KKC 😊
