Hotel Vitoria features a fitness centre, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in São Tomé. This hotel is a perfect location just beside the airport. Eventhough for some it seems like walking distance, I do not recommend this on arrival, especially if your flight is late and it is dark outside. Rather take one of the cabs as you may miss it as tge sign is facing the side not seen from the airport. Rooms are big and comfy with aircon working perfectly. Hot water was always available. Breakfast was simple, but sufficient and fresh. The highlight is definitelly the staff, that was really taking care and helping with our request. When the road to capital was closed due to bridge reconstruction, they even paid a motorbike to lead us the right way :)

Fernando was an excellent host, picked us up and brought us again to the airport and was very nice. The small apartment is very clean, in a very convenient location a few minutes from the airport. I would definitely recommend staying here. Breakfast was also great in the patio in the garden. Thank you for the excellent homemade juices!

Boasting a bar, Residencial Aeroporto is situated in São Tomé in the Sao Tome Island region, 500 metres from Lagarto Beach. The place is perfectly clean. The people in reception were very helpful, although the frequent blackouts in Sao Tomé make their life rather complicated. A place close to the airport. Good breakfast despite of early time of our departure.

Fantastic location if you need to get to the airport. Large and clean room and a bathroom. Very good breakfast and excellent coffee, one of the best I had in a long time, strong, strong, strong👏👏👏. Thank you Praia Hotel for these big coffee cups. The hotel also provides a free shuttle🙏🙏🙏

Located by the beach on Sao Tome Island in the Gulf of Guinea, Omali Lodge provides elegant rooms and free WiFi access. Amazing, kind staff made our stay special. Beautiful property with great rooms and a lovely pool. Highly recommended!

Ocean View Guesthouse offers a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in São Tomé. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Location was wonderful. Laurindo took care of the transfers as it is impossible to use a rental car to get there, and took us, for a fee, to town for dinner one night. There was no charge for our transfer from and to the airport. Laurendino also took us to a supermarket before taking us to the Ocean View. One needs to get groceries. He also was kind to arrange two boat trips to Goat Island. We were lucky to have the whole Guesthouse including the kitchen for ourselves. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Laurendino!

This area is very safe, surrounded by embassies, and the host is truly exceptional. He speaks excellent English and even arranged a customized South Tour and Island–North Tour for me. He is intelligent, flexible, and adapts the itinerary perfectly to your timing. His mother also cooked dinner for me — a delicious and authentic local meal that I appreciated so much. If you plan to stay here, don’t forget to ask him to arrange your tours; he genuinely offers the best options. The room is clean, tidy, air-conditioned, and has hot water. It’s an excellent choice overall.
