I stayed at this place for 12 nights, and it was the best decision I made. I rate it 100/10! The accommodations were very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. No question was too much to ask. There’s a supermarket nearby and an ATM machine, which is very convenient. The location is safe for female solo travelers and easy to find. If you need assistance, just send a WhatsApp message, and they respond quickly.
My room was cleaned regularly, and the bedding was changed during my stay. I enjoyed everything, especially the delicious Senegalese meals and breakfast. The receptionist, Baudo, spoke very good English, which was helpful since I don't know French.
Thank you so much to everyone for making my holiday in Dakar a memorable one. I will definitely be back in the future, Insha Allah!

The balcony that overlooks the sea and you get good cool wind. Never had to use the air conditioner because the area is cold enough. The apartment is 7mins walk to the hypermache where you can get almost anything. Very clean apartment. Eden market is close by to buy something quick.

The location was great. It was easy to move around and get whatever I needed. There's also a grocery shop right in front of the property, which I found useful. Aicha, although not around, made sure everything went well and I had the service I requested.

Location was good.
Location was good. Aircon only in bedrooms, too hot when you get to the Residence. Rooms are nice and cool. Linen needs major upgrade. Bathrooms need mats and towels and they need basic cleaning to make sure they're hygenic. If you're on a shoe string budget and don't mind aesthetics then the residence can work, for me anything over 1 night would have been an overkill. Staff not too good with English, make sure you have basic French to communicate.

I have travelled a lot to many countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, etc. Dakar/Senegal is one of my favorite places to visit. I love the ambiance of the people. It's Africa not Europe, so if you love culture, people and good food Dakar is a good choice in West Africa.

There are so many places to visit; the islands, the monument, the beaches, the fast foods, etc. As a solo traveler, I was scared at first of the risk I took to visit these places alone, but I quickly realized how friendly the people of Dakar are. There are also many foreigners there and that was a relief.
