Bratislava Airport is set 6 miles (9 kilometres) north-east of the centre of Bratislava. Its setting in the heart of Europe means it’s within easy reach of three neighbouring countries, and just an hour’s drive from Vienna, Brno and Győr. Taxis are a swift way of getting between the airport and the centre of Bratislava, costing around EUR 15–20 for a 20-minute journey. Bus route 61 (which becomes the N61 night route between 23:30 and 03:30) runs between the city’s railway station, Hlavná Stanica, every 20 minutes.

Nice place. Very busy in the city center. We were only stopping by before heading to Vienna. Another country ticked off the list. Friends from Slovakia recommend hiring a car to see the countryside but we didn't have the time unfortunately

I liked the Nivy area, it's very new and well organised with lots of green areas. There are a lot of shopping opportunities in the centre and around. Lot's of coffee shops and places to eat. The bus station is close by, and it was easy to get to from the Bratislava Airport.

Cozy and comfortable apartment.
Cozy and comfortable apartment. It is close to the highway if you come by car, and it is connected to Bratislava by bus lines. It is certainly easy to find accommodation. We walked and ran in the morning along well-maintained paths through the nearby woods. It was a really relaxing vacation.

The apartment is situated on top (5th) floor and no lift/elevator available, which is not indicated in their sales introduction, and we hardly managed our luggage upto the room; shower can easily spill water out of the bathroom which is doorless but open to toilet area; towels are dark colour and rough (see picture); bedding is uncomfortable and quilt/blankets are easily messed up between inside stuff and outer cover(see picture); no napkin tissues are provided on dining table; toilet papers are limited to 2 rolls for 7 days’ stay.

He rejected our reservation without any valid reason or explanation.
We felt very humiliated and disappointed.

Very easy to walk around the old town and to access public...
Very easy to walk around the old town and to access public transportation and Uber. Some great food options, and our group liked the Slovak Pub. I would also recommend the Grand Cru Wine Bar for some excellent Slovakian wine. Since it was over the New Year holiday many stores and museums were closed which was the only frustrating aspect.

Good place to be in Bratislava if you are looking for place outside of busy city center. Having lake Strkovec near is a big plus and also very convenient for sports fans, since it is close to hockey and football stadiums.
