Very nice rooms in a calm area, a bit outside of Portorož, close to the salines. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is available from 8 to 10 and very delicious. Free parking is available.

the whole experience was great. the host was very nice. everything was new and pretty. it was close to everything. our apartment had a balcony which was also very nice. there was a possibility to have a free coffee anytime. would very much recommend!

Portoroz is a nice city directly at the sea. A nice market place in the inner city with many nice shops, restaurants, bars. Stroll around the small streets and discover unexpected places.
There are many things you may do.
But take your time, sit down and watch the scenery.

Sečovlje is strategicly located between Slovenia and Croatia. There are saltworks and vineyards all around. Kanegra beach is closest on croatian side. Very close to Portorož and Piran but the road to Isola gets jammed very often...

A pleasant place mainly thanks to the people and services in the area. It is more about getting to know and meeting people.
There are no nice beaches here, the coast is just a pile of concrete. Entering the sea without shoes in the water is quite unpleasant.

Driving is challenging on a serpentine, next time need to prepare for it :) also there are great bike routes, so planning to bike as well.
Everybody is friendly and helpful, English is a common language.

All was great and nearby.
All was great and nearby. The prices are regular, even on beach restaurants by the sea was not so bad if we compare it to for instatnce Croatia. In supermarkets you buy all you need. First time in Portoroz, but definitely not the last.
