Great location, easy to find. Large, free parking place right outside. Hard working, friendly receptionist who also tended the bar while checking us in. Very good breakfast, which we were also allowed to eat on the spacious porch. One of the only hotels I've stayed in that actually has a garden that the guests may use for sun bathing, frisbee golf or just whatever.

The location was good, the room was beautiful, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Extremely quiet in the room, it felt like we were the only ones there. Breakfast was nice. We have stayed in a few different hotels in Umeå and this is by far our favourite.

This was the perfect hotel for us, and it's very luxurious for decent price! Everything was clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was 10/10 and there was enough gluten free options.

I called a few hotels in the city trying to request an early checkin, as my train to Umeå was to arrive very early in the morning. Scandic offered the smartest policy for an early checkin, staff was really helpful compared to other hotels that I called, and there were bikes for rent at the hotel, so I didn’t hesitate with my reservation. My room had a beautiful panoramic view and was spacious. Breakfast was good and was generously served until 11 am which was just great, letting more time to sleep. I was very happy with my choice and my stay in Umeå.
