Boasting a bar and views of inner courtyard, SAISH Stay is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Ruhengeri, 41 km from Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Everything ! We stayed here for a total of 20 nights (spread out over a few weeks) and kept coming back to this place for several reasons: - Room and bathroom were very clean, spacious, decorated with style. Matrass is comfy. We felt "at home". Common areas and bathroom are cleaned every day and room on request or every 2 to 3 days. WiFi is really good and hot water as well. - Location is well situated with Dian Fossey museum at +-20' by car/motorbike and on the way to the Volcanoes National Park. We didn't have any car, but other guests did, and they could easily park inside the gate. For lunch, easy access to Migano (26' walk) or Crema (15' walk), or you can ask staff to order for you 😉 For diner, we often had diner at Masha Haven itself (good food, we especially liked the local food!) - But what we appreciated most was the staff, especially Sandra and the manager, Masha, himself. Thank you for the many Uno games ;-) Tip - if you would like some personal drawing / painting from the manager (he is an artist!), ask him well in advance and you'll get a personal souvenir from Rwanda !
