The apartment was amazing. We spent one night before morning flight home and it was almost shame to spend just one night. It was huge, nice balcony with view on distant see. While the surrounding is mostly industrial buildings and the house was quite noisy in the evening, closing some doors (kitchen, bathroom - where is the ventilation to the hallway) helped a lot and we had a nice quiet sleep. The apartment has a keybox, but owner probably prefers the personal handover of keys. I think the photographic instructions where to park and where to find the apartment would be enough. It is not that hard to find.

Located in Sainte-Marie, on the north coast of Réunion Island, Roland Garros Airport is just over 4 miles (7 kilometres) from the capital city, Saint-Denis. The easiest way to get to and from the city is by Car Jaune bus. Its ‘Route ZE’ goes to the city between 07:00 and 18:00, Monday to Saturday, while ‘Route T’ runs to the west coast’s beach resorts. The bus offers services seven days a week, every two hours from around 05:00 until 21:00. A taxi to Saint-Denis will take about 20 minutes and cost EUR 25.

Shocking staff. We will not visit again. We stayed 4 nights in Tulip Inn hotel nearby and it was amazing experience despite being small. But we made mistake to stay in this hotel. Not value for money. They spoiled our holiday because of poor customer service experience and unfriendly staff. Absolutely lost words

As I visited Reunion many times I can say the island is...
As I visited Reunion many times I can say the island is wonderful. Waterfalls, ravines, often erupting volcano, excellent beaches. St Denis is a base for discovering it by easily renting a car at the airport. The city is for work or nightlife. The prices are higher than in neighbouring islands. The higher the accomodation price the better value you get.

The place can be easily reachable for anyone and a lot of restaurant and shop around which gives you a very big choice. The atmosphere is cool and the people are very friendly. There is also a nice place to relax yourself at the barachois.
