Encarnação Home was perfect for our overnight stay between airplane trips when it was impractical to sleep rough on airport chairs. The accommodation was extremely close to the airport and very quick to be transported to and from. We found one rideshare company (Bolt) offered a 70 per cent discount for first-time users. This was advertised at the baggage claim area and saved us a lot of money. André was very helpful and explained everything very well. We did not need to ask any questions because we already had all of the answers provided to us.

The recently renamed Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (formerly Lisbon Portela Airport) is located 4 miles (7 kilometres) from the city centre. An efficient public transportation system ensures passengers arrive quickly and comfortably. Hop on the Aeroporto-Saldanha Metro to downtown Lisbon, catch a local bus, or travel directly to your destination on the Airport Shuttle. Was handy for the airport, only 10 minutes. The host, Wagner , arranged a taxi for me for the following morning. I bought some food and prepared in the kitchen so didn't have time to look around Camarate.

We did not choose to stay in Sacavém to 'see' Sacavém. We rented a car and wanted something close to the airport. We used the car rental to visit other places in Portugal. Although, the host recommended Courela do Fouguete restaurant was awesome albeit little English.

Odivelas for us was just a location to spent a night, so, I can't much tell about this town/city. In area where we stayed for 6 nights (at the metro station) were 2 food stores, 2 bakeries (Espiga Dourada is really great!), fresh fruit/vegetable store, hot food store. Around in distance no more than 1 km from metro station are dozen of different restaurants.
According our observations, calm and safe area.

The apartment is very spacious and only 10 minutes from the airport, which is super convenient. There are two large shopping malls nearby, ideal for shopping and dining. Most people helped to find anything or to give information.Gps or google are great,but the locals know better.You must see Belem area ,and try pastel the Belem.Visit Sintra with the beautiful palaces ,such as Pena ,Quinta de Regaleira or Monserrate and of course try Cod fish and Bifanas.Public ransportation is easy,metro bus or tram available.Also taxi and Uber at good prices

The staff at Goa Square were friendly, helpful, and always available with recommendations. The rooms themselves were spotless and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. Plus, the location in Amadora is great for exploring Lisbon. There are plenty of sights nearby, and it's easy to get around.
Just a heads-up that there can be some noise from the cuisine at night, so light sleepers might want to pack earplugs. Overall, though, a great stay!

We were in Lisbon for 3 days and it was not enough. The city is easy to get around and has many historic gems to visit. There are also many day trips to places close by and uber is cheap to get around if trian or bus doesn't suit. The metro is cheap and so are the long distance buses (coaches). I wish we had 5 days at least.

I really liked this country! Lisbon is a beautiful city with so much to offer.tried some amazing local food at Time Out Market and a few small traditional cafés in Alfama. The pastéis de nata (custard tarts) were unforgettable!Young couples can enjoy a sunset at Miradouro da Senhora do Monte, a riverfront walk along the Tagus, and fado music in the old neighborhoods. There’s also a lot of nightlife in Bairro Alto, which is fun if you like music and local bars.
Overall, Lisbon is romantic, vibrant, and full of history, making it perfect for couples looking for a mix of culture, food, and beautiful views.
