Cici and her partner were really friendly. Once we knew where to go (we messaged the hosts to find the location) it was easy to speak to them as they were just opposite our apartment.
Cici brought us cookies in the morning and offered us tea. She went out of her way to be really hostly.
The beer and sodas in the fridge were a nice touch too.

Mayagüez and the West Coast of my beloved island of Puerto Rico are among the most amazing places in the world. Read reviews before booking any facility, but I guarantee you will love the West Coast beaches.

The city of Rincon, PR its such an amazing place for tourist, newcomers and even locals. It has many hidden gems (hotels, restaurants, attractions, etc). There's so much you can do to enjoy your stay by yourself or with company/family. You can go out and find some adventures or you could stay in and enjoy some peace and quiet. The lighthouse is the one spot I loved visiting, it's a perfect place to take photos and videos. It has a great view, you can walk around, explore some hidden beaches and even get something to eat while you're at it.

One important thing I didn’t mentioned about my arrival to the hotel was that I was approached by forgot if it was 3 to 4 big barking dogs and I tan out of gait when they all came running towards me, which was scary plus I am allergic to dogs and inmediately my airway felt narrowed so I had to leave within minutes after the host finished talking

Beware of the gringo price when you go to restaurants and shops. Some people are unfriendly to you if you’re “American,” the food is good, the roads are sketchy and the locals drive it like they stole it. This was my second trip to PR, I will not return, but it was worth it all to see the natural beauty of this place.

Mayaguez reminds me of New Orleans.
Mayaguez reminds me of New Orleans. The architectural buildings at the town and the simple life. We enjoyed the Plaza de Colon, located at the center of down town. The ice cream shop near by where they have my favorite ice cream of corn (maiz). I will go back at some point of my life.

Gringo town where English is the default, but lively!
Gringo town where English is the default, but lively! Good food options overall. West side for sunsets! You'll need to go to the south side of the island for swimming spots, the beaches here are for serious surfers only.

Cabo Rojo is a great place to visit.
Cabo Rojo is a great place to visit. Cabo has many places to visit, some of the best beaches in PR and great dining options! The accommodation at The Red Door Buye ruined it for us with their limited conveniences.

This resort was an absolute waste of money the holiday inn right up the street was a thousand times better and 109 less per night. I personally would never stay in this old outdated run Down resort again. Like you have to go to the bar to get ice what kind of shit is that. Nope not worth it. I will even stay at my sister in law’s house who has no ac before I would waste my money here again.

Spent two weeks in Rincon moving to different beaches, and can say without question it is a beautiful region of Puerto Rico, lovely beaches, people and food, all with a relaxed vibe and felt safe at all times, really enjoyed our experience even if all too short.
