Easily the best place I have stayed in Surigao in 8 years. The hosts are so accommodating and even allowed late check out because we have a young son and were catching the late ferry. The staff helped us rent a motorbike and also sorted out internet for me during a brownout so I could keep working. It's so beautiful and quiet at night and just 10 mins to the mall. Highly recommend.

Incredible Homestay. They have certainly made this friendly and simple little place so incredibly likeable. The town of Surigao doesn't make me stay an extra day, but this Homestay did. Maybe because I had been traveling around Leyte for a while. Spotlessly clean, cozy, spacious and comfortable room with a desk, convenient electricity outlets and attached bathroom. All toiletries supplied. Hot and cold water dispenser in the reception. Coffee, cold drinks, snacks and noodles for sale. I really liked the seaview outdoor sitting area and designated smoking area. Excellent WiFi. Hot shower, but you have to switch on the bathroom lights for it to work, even though you might not need any light! Excellent location right by the entrance to the pier. Jeepneys to the bus terminal leaves right outside the door. This place really is a bit of a hidden gem, as you won't just stumble across it when looking for a place to stay, as there are no signs outside.
