Honestly we loved our stay. We read many bad reviews but for us it was one of the best hotels in the Philippines in that price range. Beautiful hotel, fresh and clean rooms, comfy bed, lovely staff, amazing location right by the beach with plenty of good restaurants. Very happy with our stay!

We had the great pleasure of staying at Hotel Lakwa and can't say anything but that it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by incredibly friendly and helpful staff who really went above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible.
The staff helped us with everything from organising excursions to smoothly arranging mopeds for us to use to explore the area. It's really noticeable that they are passionate about providing their guests with the best possible service.
The hotel itself is both newly opened and incredibly fresh - a truly top-notch place. The rooms are well-kept and modern, and the common areas give a lovely and inviting feel. We really appreciated the care that has been put into every detail, from the decor to the amenities.
We can highly recommend Hotel Lakwa to anyone looking for a worry-free and first-class stay. Thank you for a memorable experience - we will definitely be back!

Nice and clean room, good working wi-fi, lovely bathroom with hot shower and VERY good food in the restaurant!
The staff is helpful and friendly. They also have two very cute small dogs.

It was such a wonderful place where a lot of care has been given to the design and the facilities. The staff is extremely friendly, made us feel at home and really took care of us. We chose this place because it was close to the airport but we wished that we had booked more nights there!
We had such a relaxing time at the pool and the hostel is close to Lio beach and about 10 min away from the center. We would love to come again one day.

El Nido is an incredible destination with breathtaking...
El Nido is an incredible destination with breathtaking limestone cliffs, crystal-clear turquoise water, and some of the best island-hopping experiences we’ve had. The tours are well organised and take you to beautiful lagoons, beaches, and snorkelling spots, so bringing your own snorkel and mask is recommended if you have them, along with water shoes for rocky shorelines, although all equipment can also be hired locally. If you’re flying into Puerto Princesa, be prepared for a long but scenic van transfer of around five hours on a winding road, it’s worth allowing plenty of time, packing snacks and water, and planning arrival during daylight if possible, as the effort is absolutely worth it once you arrive.

El Nido is a must. Leave full days for the island hopping tours. A B C D
Zip line is a nice experience needs less than half a day. Canopy walk is Donald in a couple of hours. Best to have at least 3 full days at least

I really enjoyed town, but nacpan and duli area also nice places to stay!
Lio is another nice spot to stay.
Town is good if you like going out to eat, and see a lot of things
But staying in lio, nacpan or duli is also nice if you want a more peaceful, quiet time. even sibaltan would be nice (check out the manta rays if you dive)
