I arrived around midnight, I did not want to wake the hosts so I decided to walk over 3 miles to get from the docks to the hostel. Being such a small island, someone contacted the hosts (unbeknownst to me) and let them know I was walking… They picked me up around one in the morning and saved me about 2 miles of walking. Super friendly. A decent place to snorkel (relatively speaking based on my Snorkeling experience on this Motu) is right across from the hostel. BTW, the best place IMO (on this Motu) is “the aquarium “ … you’ll need to hire a small boat to get you there though. Super clear and tons of fish.

Lucille, her family and Miri were the best part. I was in room number 4. Great patio area by the back garden. The location is very close to the airport. The main picture is about two minutes away and during all my walks over there was no one. Which was great. The room is well equipped with a mini fridge, kettle, microwave, closet, towels. If I ever come back I will stay here just because of the hospitality of Lucille. She has the most adorable little girl.

Loved that they provided kayaks, bikes and also things like mosquito spray was super sweet. Great location on the lagoon.

We had even the sea view from the bed. Dark, starry skies. Coral gardens right outside.

We went here for our honeymoon and also my husband's 30th birthday. The staff at Raira Lagon truly made everything as good as it could be for us, and made an amazing breakfast for my husband as I requested a surprise roomservice , thank you so much for this! The bungalow by the water is private , comfortable and beautiful! Daily cleaning, beautiful view, comfy and spacious bed, nice shower and bathroom. Everything you could wish for! Breakfast is good and is enjoyed with a lagoon view that is spectacular. Dinners are great and cocktails too, and sometimes they have traditional dancing shows by a local group which one should not miss! The snack by the hotel is also super great with tasty foods and drinks, so the availability for getting something to eat or drink is great always! The location is superb as it is close to the airport and in the middle of the main island , so you can easily get around to both ends of the island. Free bikes is a big plus!! And kayaks too. The staff also helped with booking excursions etc, which was very helpful. Will definitely come back when we visit French polynesia again! Thank you so much for making our stay amazing!!

We loved staying at her beach house. All of the reviews on other sites say it all. My teen boys loved having kayaks. We biked everywhere. Itwas a fun trip.
