Our stay was absolutely amazing – more than ideal! The newly built bungalows are absolutely beautiful: clean, stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully well-equipped with everything you need. The private beach and lagoon are magical - peaceful, pristine, and literally just steps away from your private, spacious front terrace. It’s a true slice of paradise. Isabelle and Kelly go above and beyond in every way. Their hospitality is unmatched—they are incredibly welcoming and immediately made us feel like family. From the moment we arrived, they took the time to learn about our interests and helped us book unforgettable excursions with awesome, trusted local guides. Isa and Kelly were always available, warm, and attentive, genuinely passionate about creating meaningful experiences for their guests. And Isabella’s cooking… wow! She brought us homemade breakfasts to our terrace each morning, plus a delicious homecooked dinner that was one of the best meals of our entire trip. Honestly, we originally planned to stay on the north side of the island, but choosing Fareana Lodge was the best decision we could have made. It’s serene, spacious, and feels like your own private paradise with the best hosts you could ask for. We felt lucky to stay on the more remote side of the island to see all that Fakarva has to offer. Isa and Kelly were truly a trip highlight, sharing their time, culture, and laughs. We can't wait to stay at Fareana Lodge again!

Fareana Lodge Bungalow ho'e is set in Fakarava. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property offers a 24-hour front desk. Fareana Lodge exceeded our expectations.ln fact it was by far our favourite place to stay in all of the islands. The bungalow was one of two in the property. It had everything we might need, stories and clean. The location was great, It was right on the edge of the lagoon which has the most amazing snorkeling right from the beach. There are also complimentary kayaks and bicycles. The lodge is 15kms from town, but there is a small supermarket 5kms äway.. if we needed anything, the hosts were always there to help us out. The hosts, Isabelle and Kelly were just so amazing, friendly and helpful. They picked us up from the village and organised our transfer to the airport. They were always checking if we needed anything.. We arrived as guests, but left as friends. We would have no hesitation recommending Fareana Lodge

Set in Fakarava, FAKARAVA - Teariki Lodge 2 offers accommodation with pool with a view, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The property has pool and garden views. We stayed at the lodge for three nights and we went to Fakarava essentially for diving. The lodge is quite remote from town and most dive centers (7-9 km) but most of them offer pick-up. There are bicycles at the lodge but they don’t have brakes nor handles and the return from the town center can be challenging at night due to strong headwind. The lodge was clean, however - since there are no mosquito nets at the windows - many bugs and gecko can enter the room. Therefore you don’t want to leave the windows open and the room becomes hot quickly - fan is provided. The lodge offers internet connection but - when we stayed - it was impossible to browse the internet possibly due to the bad weather. The owner speaks no English at all and it was very difficult to communicate with him and his staff. However, they were very kind and helped us in any possible way. That said - most structures in Fakarava offer basic services and if your prepared and know what to expect you may enjoy your stay. Small improvements from the owners to the lodge could significantly increase the pleasure of the stay. Also, the price is pretty high for what is offered. If you like simple and remote places, the lodge is quiet and offer amazing ocean view with a private pool.
