The host was a wonderful person who was always availiable for everything. We arrived in the morning, and she immediately gave the keys of the house. She gave us a lot of tips on Bora Bora and at the end she even gave us a present.
The location is very beautiful, on the sea with a little pier and a small kayak available for the guests.
Bora Bora is not a nig island, but you definitely need a car to go around. The house is about 15 minutes from the wonderful beach of Matira and 15 min. from the port and main town

Exceptional host - rare to come across such a tourism professional like Fred. we had a short stay on the island, but he was full of surprises, you have to check it out for yourselves. The property has a cozy room, good utensila and equipment, incl. a washing machine, good wifi, good aircon, private parking spot, nice tour options and good local advice. And not to forget the meals - his breakfast and dinner were prepared and served in a professional, tasteful manner, it is a must to try (Fred is a pro cook btw). We also loved the private swimming pool. The guest bungalow is properly separated, gives enough privacy. Fred has a very useful and efficient alarm system - his dogs. If you dont rent a car, Fred offers the pickup from the port of the airport and has some vehicles for rent as well. The property is easy to find and is situated in a calm neighbourhood.
He also offers some complimentary water to the guests, nice gesture.

Bora Bora is a slice of paradise.
Bora Bora is a slice of paradise. We rented a scooter for a day and saw the whole island. What was best was Rudolph at H2O was an amazing tour guide. Well worth the money. The waters are amazing colours and warm. Temperature perfect. People were nice and friendly. Had some great meals.

Our favourite place was on the lagoon.
Our favourite place was on the lagoon. We hired a pontoon boat and spent a day on the water, one of the best experiences was snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. It was great. Lots of different fish, coral gardens and many sea life. Water was crystal clear and vibrantly blues and greens. Views were endless. Swam at Matira Beach. Wish I could go back there. Restaurants were good and plentiful - we ate at Lucky House and Maitai Restaurants.

Going to Matira Beach is a must. Have a drink or sunset at the Bora Bora Beach Club that's right on the beach. Go on a boat tour to a Motu (an islet) and snorkeling (ask for DiDi the boat captain).
