Our flight arrived late and we wanted to stay near the airport so chose this hotel. We were surprised how lovely it was: friendly and attentive staff, 24h free spa (pool and sauna), welcome drinks, comfortable beds and delicious breakfast.
Everything you need from an airport hotel.
It was a bit more expensive than where we usually stay (doing South America on a budget) but definitely great value for money! Would happily stay again!

The bathroom was great. Super clean and modern.Generally it was very clean, which doesn't happen very often in Peru. Very comfy bed as well. Close to the airport. The owner was very kind and offered me courtesy pick up from the airport and checked me in much earlier than designated time. There is also a place to prepare some food and a microwave. I would definitely recommend the hostel.

Good for a short stop over, the hotel car cancelled my airport drop off due the early morning flight, but the person at the reception came to the rescue and ordered me a taxi which was reimbursed by the hotel. Customer service is excellent and I would recommend if you have a short stop over.

My flight was delayed and cancelled, so I booked this stay last minute and I’m so glad I did. The host family arranged an airport pick-up within two hours at 1 AM, which was incredibly kind. The room was beautiful, cozy, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I also appreciated having a TV with Netflix. Although the bathroom was shared, it wasn’t an issue at all for a short layover.
The family was lovely, welcoming, and took great care of me. In the morning they even drove me back to the airport free of charge. I highly recommend staying here truly exceptional hospitality.

Giarcarlo was amazing. Picked us up from the airport himself super late at night and allowed us an extra late checkout. Nice clean bed and facilities, great room overall. Only minor downside was the water in our room only got warm but not hot but whatever.

Location and Transport
Located 7 miles (11 kilometres) away from Miraflores–Lima’s city centre–Jorge Chávez International Airport (also known as Lima International Airport) serves as Peru’s main international and domestic airport. It can be reached easily by taxi or public transport. You’ll find lots of taxi companies in the Arrivals area, where you can arrange your trip. The rate into Miraflores is fixed at PEN 50, with a journey time of 45 minutes. For a cheaper but slower alternative, take the Airport Express bus service, which runs every 30 minutes.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
There is one hotel at Jorge Chávez Airport and several hotels within a few kilometres, with some offering a shuttle service. The airport has been modernised numerous times over the years, most recently in 2005, when the Peru Plaza Shopping Centre was constructed, along with an additional concourse area. There’s also a spa, VIP lounges, and luggage storage if you’d like to spend your time in between flights exploring the city.

I visited the Larcomar mall in the Mirafloors area in the Lima city. It is very very beautiful area and a must visit. Besides I had my Lunch and Dinner at Myantra; an Indian restaurant with most delicious Indian cuisine. I love Lima and Cusco.

I enjoyed the city center.
I enjoyed the city center. It felt safe with many police in the area. I walked a few blocks away into what is perhaps a more typical part. This is where the central mercado is located. I also found this area to be safe. I only visited during the day.

This is a place that won't break your budget.
This is a place that won't break your budget. Gastronomic capital of the world but even the regular places have good food and are very inexpensive by American standards yet what you receive is so much better than you expect at home. Love having Pisco Sours. Lima Miraflores is very safe and clean. I walked everywhere and it is easily walkable, the sidewalks are in good condition which you don't find in a lot of South American cities (I am calling you out Bogota). There's a lot of culture and history here and of course there is much more to Peru than just Lima so explore. They also have a brand new and beautiful airport.
The downside to Lima, TRAFFIC! It takes an hour or more to get from the airport to Miraflores. They drive a bit crazy, I mean there are lines on the road but no one feels obligated to stay in their lane. Drivers are a bit aggressive, and walking across the street at an uncontrolled intersection can be a little traumatic. Uber works here and it is very reasonably priced and for the most part the drivers are good. Watch out for pirate taxis claiming to be Uber at the airport, they rip you off. They will charge you double or more. Only book an Uber through the app and don't use the fake taxi service at the airport. You can tell, because they are very aggressive to get you into their car.
