April our hostess was very helpful and informative. The breakfasts were delicious with homemade jams 😋 . It was a very laid back and relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely recommend Casa Lajagua to our friends and family.

The location is good for the beach and walking into town. We drove to beach but you could walk, it's flat but a bit of a way. Great beach and worth going to.
With some TLC the room we had would be brilliant, large with comfy bed, bit rough round the edges, which personally we found fine. Hot water in shower, working lights and TV. Not many accessible plugs, but that seems normal in Panama Hostels. AC worked well.
Good breakfast, shame no fruit but hot food choice good. Nice pool, didn't go in but looked clean. Friendly helpful staff. Overall just needs some TLC to bring up to a great standard. These are our personal observations, overall we enjoyed our 2 nights.

Very cosy room and the whole vibe of the hotel was very relaxing. The garden area and adjoining restaurant look nice, clean and welcoming. We had such a lovely, well-deserved stay here. (The shower was also a plus). Will definitely stay here again!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay where the rooms are in fact standalone bungalows, while guests enjoy the access to the shared garden and open-air living room allowing the full immersion in a tropical climate. The decor was very catchy and stylish, while the apartment was clean and had all the promised amenities. The host was extremely responsive and accomodative.

Above all, I got to know 2 very interesting people, amazing and with a huge heart, the owners of the place Yeti & Libia ❤️. In addition, the area is wild, natural, quiet and secluded but perfectly full of life with ectozoic animals, a breathtaking outdoor area and more...highly recommend to those looking for calm, quiet, nature and an opportunity / right to meet a wonderful couple full of content

Lots of fun things to do without lots of driving.
Lots of fun things to do without lots of driving. Venado beach is fantastic. Coucoucrazy good craft beer, great food. Local expats are friendly and share information freely. The bad, rental homes still quite expensive (we checked out Pedasi two years ago and rents have not come down).

it's like turning the clock of time back...everyone waves...
it's like turning the clock of time back...everyone waves and goes at a slower pace... if you're a light sleeper take a noise maker or ear plugs there's plenty of roosters in the town it's a small farming Village...if you need big City activities and action this is not the place for you..if you would enjoy a quiet get away with everyone friendly but minding their own business in a sleepy little town this is the place for you!
