The value for the dinners was excellent. I ordered something different every night and each meal was excellent. There was a problem with the elevator going to the main lobby and the staff made sure that I was able to reach the main lobby with no issues. The staff only found solutions to problems.

A simple and humble home from home where you are treated as family. Walking distance from bus terminal or short taxi ride. If you’re looking for genuine sense of adventure, hidden local gems and to meet the people of the region, Mike’s adventures is the place.
Roger arranged some amazing trips at fair prices and he works with the community for a real authentic experience. He has the best contacts and is your guy for anything and everything in the Chiriqui region! Also thank you for the incredible locally sourced coffee and chocolate and family dinner ;) we feel so lucky to have stumbled across this gem of a place. Roger and Mike really care about their community and giving back to the people.
DONT SKIP DAVID!!!! There is so much to see and do from the city we wish we stayed longer. We saw migrating whales, untouched islands, natural rock formations, fresh water swimming and was lucky enough to be involved in a local and responsible baby turtle release - all in just 2 days!! The city felt safe and the people were welcoming. Such a shame to miss it!

David is only good for a few stores to shop at if you own a...
David is only good for a few stores to shop at if you own a home and need supplies. The city is dirt and the sidewalks are a joke. Watch your step everywhere or break and ankle. There is no night life and very few restaurants that I would even call somewhat edible places to go.
