We had an amazing time at St Regis Al Mouj for a quick weekend gateway. I would give the staff 100+ star rating for the amazing service they provided from the minute we booked, to the warm welcome and attention throughout the stay. We had some issues with our booking upon check-in and Mr Mark Gregorio was our hero to shift everything around and made our stay unforgettable, even when our flight got cancelled he extended our room check out without us asking, a HERO indeed. Mr Zakariya AlKusaibi, a beacon of joy !! He ensured everything was booked and ready for us and gave us amazing recommendations of restaurants and cafes in the resort and gave us an amazing special tour around the property.
The food in the restaurants was amazing, and how can we forget the amazing time we spent at Zorba Greek restaurant with the most beautiful view, ambiance, delicious food and top noche service by the staff. Many thanks to Mr Hussein and his wonderful team !
Last but not least, Ms Munia Douchy who took care of all our stay arrangements from A-Z we can't thank you enough for all your assistance and support throughout our stay and going out of your way to ensure that we are happy and enjoying our time.
Although it's a soft opening, we've enjoyed most of the facilities at the resort. The fitness center was amazing, the pool can't be missed and the beautiful breeze coming from the ocean while walking on the beach was the cherry on top.
We'll be back once again after the Grand Opening and we can wait to dine in the international famous restaurants that will open and spend a full day at the Spa ! :)

I loved the privacy and comfort of this apartment, I felt much more free than in a hotel. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes from Al Mouj Marina and 10 minutes from the airport, with lots of cafés and restaurants around. Communication with the host was very easy, and they were super kind and helpful. All was clean and new. I will definitely stay here again for longer time. It is also good for groups, as there are other independent rooms around.

This place is super clean, very quiet and the room though simple had everything I needed. I was impressed at the way that Host had thought about so many details including a drying rack, iron and board plenty of electrical and USB outlets and a very decent size bedroom and big bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised how nice Muscat is! The roads are not extremely busy, it has a diverse scenery (mountain, beach, tourist attractions, etc).
The taxi drivers I hired were all nice and friendly. it's nice to arrive to a country and be met with friendliness and welcoming gestures. I hope to come back again one of these days.

Very impressed with our first visit to Muscat and Oman. Good hotels at good value and great food at great value. We rented a car from NAB rentacar which was delivered to the hotel. Didn't use taxis. Bought a SIM card from Omantel at the airport for use with our portable wi-fi router so we could navigate around ourselves. If you want a spectacular world class, 4x4 low range track up to Jebel Shams get the gps track from Wikiloc - Rustaq to Shams. Not for the fainthearted! Our Mitsubishi Montero Sport on worn factory tyres managed easily.

1) All the staff were most helpfull, however the language barrier caused a minor hic-cup with the room service when ordering from the menu in my room. Staff took it upon themselves to ad-lib with food subsitutions from the set breakfast menu, without informing the customers. It was eventually sorted out.
2) The water pressure in the shower was very low, could do with improvement.
3) The swimming pool was not available for use untill May 2024.
Other than those 3 issues the hotel represents value for money. I would stay again, but make sure the swimming pool was available for use.

Muscat is more authentic than places like Dubai and Qatar, and a lot more laid back. It isn't expensive (its a lot cheaper than Dubai) and there is a lot to do. The main mosque is very impressive and the day trips to the islands for snorkelling are good. The main souq is also very good

Seeb is far away (over 20 km) from city center. Nothing to see there. So not many tourists there. But it is developing. Quiet long beach but no infrastructure. You need car to get to the center!
There is a lively street food market in the night where you can get great food for low price.
