Ideally set in the centre of Invercargill, Distinction Invercargill Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, private parking and room service. We couldn’t fault this hotel in any way & it was surprisingly affordable, I suspect due to the fact it has only been open an open a few months. Easy to find & easily accessible if driving. We ate at the restaurant which was also very good.

I’ve stayed here multiple times now, and if you’re looking for somewhere cheap and simple, this is the place. Rooms are very clean, so are the shared bathroom facilities. The shared kitchen is big, so it never feels crowded. Great location too, intercity bus stops right outside.

Stayed overnight only but it was really clean and comfortable.and central. I wish I had stayed another day to explore Invercargil.
