Glentanner Park is a holiday park and activity centre offering affordable accommodation and panoramic views of Aoraki Mount Cook and Mount Cook National Park. We booked one of the units ( bedroom+private bathroom+kitchen) and it was super comfortable and had a wonderful view over Mt.Cook. We had plenty of space and the kitchen was extra clean and super equipped. The staff was also extra nice and was very welcoming! Also, it was only a short drive (20min) to the park visitor’s centre and most famous hike trails!

Featuring garden views, Mount Cook Station Shearers Quarters Lodge in Lake Tekapo features accommodation, a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. The place is lovely and in the middle of nature, the best we had on our 10 days trip on the south island. We stayed in 'Tom's hut', this is detached from the main building but right next to it. The hut is very cosy and the heating is very strong. We also really liked the common areas with the big kitchen and the fireplace with firewood. While staying there, we hiked across the farm and beyond on land that's not public to enjoy the beautiful scenery, a unique experience. Thanks Alana for being so helpful and for her kids showing us the farm animals :)

At Haka House Aoraki - Mt Cook, adventure and comfort merge in a warm and inviting atmosphere. I really like how modern, cozy and fancy Aoraki haha house was, the views were absolutely outstanding in the shared area where you eat. The price was unbeatable.

Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. The location is spectacular and the room was lovely, clean and modern. Highlight of our tour of NewZealand so far.

My stay at Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge was exceptional. The lodge is conveniently located along a scenic road that offers stunning views of Mount Cook, making the drive to the accommodation a memorable experience. It is also ideally situated for those who enjoy trekking, with easy access to various trails. One of the highlights of my stay was the night sky, which was breathtakingly clear due to the lack of light pollution, allowing for excellent stargazing. The lodge itself was warm, the water supply was reliable, and all amenities were convenient and well-maintained. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay with no significant issues to mention. I highly recommend Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge for anyone looking to explore the area and enjoy a cozy, nature-filled retreat.

Set in Mount Cook National Park, The Hermitage Hotel features a range of rooms and suites all offering majestic mountain views, and most with views of Mount Cook. This is an amazing place to stay and the view from our room was spectacular and incredibly breathtaking 🥰 Im glad i upgraded to premium plus room at level 8, because oh lord! The view of the majestic Aoraki through my window is something I will take with me forever!! The room was super tidy with all mentioned amenities. The restaurant offered dinner and breakfast buffet which we enjoyed dearly. The staff were friendly and accomodating.

Clean and comfortable - what you are really there for is the experience. Chris was wonderful to deal with, the fire roaring when we arrived, and staying on a working sheep farm is a unique experience.
