This hotel has a fantastic staff and is walking distance from the airport. We know that Nepali are famous about their hospitality but we didn’t expect such kindness. We stayed here during the Genz demonstrations from Sept 8-11 2025(we got stuck due to curfews and closure of airports) and they took a really good care of us. Their heart was probably with their comrades fighting for a better future yet they stayed highly professional. We felt safe,they communicated transparently about what’s going on and had everything we needed. They even helped us coordinate with our trekking shop to deliver our gears. !! I really hope that the management praises them and let them grow. We also tried to show our appreciation but again a big THANK YOU GUYS FOR TAKING CARE OF US!!!

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job of keeping everything spotless. What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Every member of the team, from the front desk to the restaurant, was courteous, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. Front office staff are wonderful. The hotel's location was convenient and very near to Airport, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. Whether it was dining at the restaurant, enjoying the facilities, or simply interacting with the staff, everything exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Prudential Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Value for money ,service oriented , the Bhutanese delicacy was amazing , very traditional and authentic touch. Front office team was amazing and always helpful and welcoming. The room was beautiful, spacious and all amenities placed tightly. The location is perfect close to Boudha stupa just walking distance and very peaceful and serene. Security staff very welcoming and professional. Very eager to come back to this property , I would highly recommend this hotel .

Some part of loads were not paved so sometimes like rush hour the air becomes so dusty due to so many cars and buses. Some restaurants would charge some extra fee if you offer to pay by credit card. cash would be better in a local restaurant.

High-quality furniture, smart home features, and the little touches like fresh linens and premium toiletries made my stay feel like a true getaway. The location was fantastic—central to everything I wanted to explore, yet tucked away enough for a peaceful stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during my trip. People in Kathmandu are friendly and helpful. The weather was fair for this time of year. A lot to see and take in. Shopping, eating all the very delicious Mo Mo soaking in Jhol. All the Temples, Shrines, breathtaking mountains views, and of course Mount Everest.

Definitely an underrated gem in KTM. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well kept, with plenty of daylight. Staff are kind and very attentive. Rooftop restaurant has killer views of the Valley. Central location, but being in a side alley, it was very quiet at night, so the quality of my sleep in this property was a particular highlight for me. Would definitely revisit.

Hotel Barahi Kathmandu is an oasis of calm on the edge of the hectic city. Its location is perfect, as is the quality of its hospitality and services. I suspect they're surpassed in KTM? The breakfast does require a special mention as does the restaurant food and choices on offer - all excellent.
