Elin was very kind to let us have an early check in. We arrived at a clean, warm house with welcome cookies, chocolate and drinks. Comfortable beds, kitchen fully stocked. A very pleasant stay.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation, with easy access to the bus into the city, fantastic views and within reasonable walking distance of the Jekta Shopping Center (Jekta Storsenter) and grocery stores (both in the Shopping Center and the Coop Prix Håpet before reaching the Jekta Storsenter). In regard to the accommodation itself, it had everything you may need for your winter wonderland holidays; super comfortable and functional and the host was amazing and super communicative. Highly recommended.

Perfectly located near the airport and a bit outside the city, but well connected by bus. Breakfast was superb! A lot of choices every day. Room was very comfortable and the top floor, where the reception is, is very nice as well. The welcome drink was a nice extra.

The property was incredible. Really well equipped, clean and stylish. The views from the window are gorgeous and it was such a lovely flat to stay in. Also, the kitchen is amazing and so well equipped. It was also really well located, so close to the bus stop and then only 15 minutes into the centre of Tromso.

we had snow a fantastic car a nice place fantastic host and great guides .
a super supermarket with fresh fish and superb meat .. plenty of veg
we saw the Aurora borealis twice, one even from the terrace at home..
the reindeers free and in with the SAMi people.
we did few short drive around to see the fiord at day and night.. ( well we had 3 jh light a day
we rest we had twice dinner out in Tromso and in Skogfiords
we had super company for chasing the first night the l nordic lights called Wandering Owl ..all was magic .

The absolute best place to see the Northern Lights.
The absolute best place to see the Northern Lights. Right under the auroral oval so you'll be able to see directly overhead. During the solar maximum you'll be able to see it most nights that it's not cloudy even if only a little. If you stay for a week you might get a performance where it dances in the sky.
Some nice shops to visit. Plenty of tours in the winter to do aurora chasing, whale watching, husky and reindeer sledding. The moutains are beautiful to look at and even more so to hike. There are plenty of hiking routes around but just heed the avalance warnings if doing so in the winter.
Spent time there Oct/Nov and would recommend microspike crampons so that you can get around the more icy areas like the parks without slipping.
Get the Svipper app so that you can use the busses getting into and out of town which are really fast and efficient...or Uber.
Accomodation prices get really expensive from November to March due to all the above winter activities, but it's an absolute bargain to travel in the summer and experience the midnight sun in June.

Great place to see the Nortern Lights of to go ski or hike. Busstop in front.

The apartment is a little ways from the main city but the check in lady was kind enough to share some tips on how we can move around to and from the city. The norwegian bus system is pretty accurate in terms of timing and very easy for us foreigners to buy the tickets etc.
However, because the apartment is bit far away, the bus line that takes you around the area will close rather early so you might have to resolve in taking a cab. They are also closed on Sunday and very limited times on Satuday. (Note, this is not the main public bus transport in Tromso but the public bus (that takes you to Tromso...)
The apartment itself is super lovely, we saw the aurora from our place on the day we arrived. The view is just insane with the mountains and the waters, i highly recommend this place and if i ever were to come back here, i'd definitely stay with them again

I enjoyed the amazing views as well as the peaceful environment. The apartment was neat and had everything I needed.
The bus ride into town was a great way to see more of Tromso even though it was 30 minutes each way. I loved it.
