the apartment was adequate, with big bedroom part and big and modern shower. shopping can be done in neighbouring beek and therefore a microwave and freezer compartment would be good. i didnt check if there was a freezer compartment in the fridge.

We had a wonderful time. The place and surroundings are beautiful. The hosts are lovely people - very welcoming, kind and friendly. The apartment was perfect - very clean and cosy with all the amenities you could want.

Just a beautiful place.
Just a beautiful place. Of course it is a tourist place, but the local people are genuinely welcoming, and rightly proud of their clean and superbly presented town. Yes, We are fans (several visits) however, if you enjoy safe and happy places you too will love it. Enjoy!

Some thing were very confusing as there was very little information in English, sorry we do not speak Dutch. Reception hours were very short for a residential park .
Entry barrier closed at 22:00 to provide peace and quiet which was good but the car park beyond the barrier was far too small for late returners

A comfortable self-catering apartment with 2 separate bedrooms and a large living. Everything is clean and tidy. The shower is OK, as are the beds.
Geulle itself does not have to many facilities, but 2 supermarkets are at 3km/2 miles distance in an adjacent village.
The area is well suited for tours on foot, by bike or by car.

Lots to do and Valkenburg. Really nice shopping on the square a lot of restaurants and when the cycling is on it's really fascinating. Really nice little place. Although my very favorite is Gulpen.

Berg en Terblijt was perfect for our visit to Maastricht, with a 15 minute drive to the Park & Ride for the shuttle bus to the city centre at a very reasonable cost. Maastricht is a great place to visit but we came for the Andre Rieu concert and did not have time to explore the city this time. The pretty town of Valkenburg is very close where we had a delicious meal. There are at least two streets in Valkenburg lined with restaurants offering food from all parts of the globe. For self-catering, the well-equipped supermarket in Berg en Terblijt sells all you need.

Valkenburg is a small town that has a very peaceful vibe with lots of eateries and lovely cakes. It has a castle ruins to visit, a lovely spa with outdoor swimming, chair lifts and toboggans and it has a direct to train to Maastricht.
