The Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel and Conference Center has direct access to Schiphol International Airport outside security check and is only 15 minutes by train and 20 minutes by car from... I had an early morning flight and it was so convenient to be at the airport. My room was renovated and I loved my bathroom. I appreciated the eco friendliness where the coffee and water machines were shared ones in the passageway. There was no use of plastic. Very nicely done! I should say check in and check out was seamless.

It has everything you need: a private shower, soft and comfortable beds. The reception staff are very friendly and attentive to guests. I especially appreciated the wake-up call service before my flight. The location is quiet and peaceful, allowing you to have a great rest before a flight or during a layover.

Ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport offers a free shuttle service to and from Schiphol Airport. It has pretty much everything. It has a shuttle that runs frequently to the airport. It had 3 restaurants within the hotel (a diner, street food bar, & 3 course meal restaurant) it had an ironing corner for clothes, a luggage weight scale in the corner, breakfast buffet on the 4th floor €18. a huge waiting/ resting area. And plenty of staff to handle the check-in lines. The only complaint I’d say is the bathroom felt like a cruise ship bathroom. But it worked! The only thing I didn’t see was a gym but I didn’t look for it either. Very nice front desk staff as well. I had no stress for making my flight the next day.

This Airport Hotel was better than expected. The food in the all you could eat buffet was excellent and included beer & wine - even better value. The Hotel was large but it felt that we were on our own. Staff brilliant.

A very nice and quiet city. People were great, we had the opportunity to visit this very nice place, "the Beach" with we enjoyed a lot. People at the front desk were also wonderful. Thank you, we will come back on our next visit to the Netherlands.

This location is very enviting ,plenty of food and drink options in building one.rooms are very large.clean very modern and large windows.the shuttle service was awesome,back and forth to the airport to pick up some snacks at the airport super market,very friendly and informative shuttle drivers.one day ill be back for a return stay.

Aalsmeer is close to Amsterdam to get in easily, but far...
Aalsmeer is close to Amsterdam to get in easily, but far enough away that the city does not swamp you. It is close to Amsterdam Bos, which is a massive park, filled with cycle paths. There is shopping and excellent cafes and restaurants. Close by also, is Amstelveen, and I can recommend Colijn restaurant, which is simply amazing. The tram into the Amsterdam is frequent and fast, or you can use RAI park and ride which we used several times because of the simplicity and cost. If you have a car, reaching places like Naarden and Utrecht is straightforward (and both recommended). There is so much historic and modern Netherlands within easy reach of Aalsmeer I can strongly recommend staying here.

In spite of the convenient location, and decent ammenities, there were issues with early gaining access to our room, no hot water on the bathroom sink, on both our visits, logging onto the wi-fi network, and confusion among assigned accommodation.
