So happy with the service provided by Mr. Tom Teo. He was very helpful and guided us well in the island. He gave us many options on the activities that we could do and and tried his best to meet our needs. The accommodation is nice and clean, if it's a 'kampung' life you're after, you got it. The other staff also are very helpful and try to meet your needs.

Wonderful place to stay and Juara beach is paradise 😍. I felt at home here. The staff is great, Etty is such a sweet and kind person. The chalet room has what you need. I stayed in the one with garden view but I even had sea view. The dorm is nice, it has airco and a terrace with a beautiful view and the sheets are so cozy and soft. I slept really well.
I have done a good diving course at the scuba dive center at 2 sec around the corner - easy..
Go there!

June and her family are so nice, helpful and efficient. They organized everything for us perfectly (taxi, breakfast, snorkeling day trip). The chalet is confortable and clean. The beach is incredibly beautiful and relaxing, and small hikes in the jungle easily accessible.

Beautiful island with many things to see and do - snorkelling, diving, hiking, jungle tours. Some of the beaches were stunning, felt like we were in the Caribbean/South Pacific islands. As a local, I really hope that the beauty of the island will be preserved, there are still some parts of beach (on west coast) with trash and construction debris lying around, it would be great if these could be cleaned up. Sadly, much of the coral is also bleached, but this is a global phenomena. If you swim further out from the coast, there is still a lot of intact coral which was great to see.

Relaxing but the properties don't coordinate when they close, so the only way to find this out is when you arrive there for a breakfast, lunch or dinner meal. There isn't public transport along Juara beach so you need to book transport from your hotel in advance or be prepared to walk.

Perfect get away.
Perfect get away. I believe Covid shut down has drained a lot of reserves of the hotels and therefore a lot of necessary maintenance is postponed. There live 4,000 people on Tioman but there are during the 7 months of operation of the island way too many tourist to manage for these 4,000 people. I was here for the second time and nature and animals are breathtaking, amazing island to visit!

It's a magical place.
It's a magical place. Juara Ocean Chalet is a wonderful family run business and their hospitality was incredible! They helped us coordinate many adventures and anything we needed was a message away. The family has deep roots over many generations in Juara Beach and their love for it shows. We are grateful that they are able it to share it and we got to enjoy it! Juara Bay Seafood was also an incredible restaurant with amazing food. We dined there several times and also enjoyed eating at the many smaller local restaurants. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would strongly recommend Juara Beach to anyone seeking an amazing beach holiday in Southeast Asia.

You can rent a motorbike to explore the village freely.
The area is safe, with charming chalets scattered around.
There are many places offering scuba diving license courses, and there is also a turtle conservation centre nearby.
