a reasonably affluent city on the east coast, boasting a modern drawbridge copied from London Bridge in the UK. There is a lot of building and development going on, and clearly this place has ambitions. There are two massive shopping malls close to the drawbridgewith a great range of shops inside, and the whole city had a very pleasant vibe.

I cannot say much as my stay in Kuala Terengganu was short, only for three days, and the main purpose of my visit to KT was to visit my relatives. Didn’t do much sightseeing.
However, it is a good thing that there is a large modern shopping mall within walking distance from the hotel that I was able to visit and spent time shopping and enjoying lunches and dinners in the restaurants. Also had a taste of durians in Kuala Terengganu which I didn’t have the opportunity to in Kuala Lumpur.
Overall, it was a pleasant trip.
