It's a 2 minute walk from the park entrance while still giving you the feel of being outside of the park. They kept power on the whole time so we could still charge things throughout the day and keep the fans on all night. At nights the rooms cooled down and were comfortable. The bathrooms were shared but we were the only people here so it felt private.

They offered help including trips recommendations, meals preparation and transfer to the airport. It felt like being welcomed into their home and living with family. We even had a karaoke night! The place is kept clean and there is luggage storage. The home cook meals were made from homegrown vegetables too, they were delicious.

It's about 1-1.5 km from Mulu national park and airport, so it's in walkable location. The host Helena and Shania was supportive. The room had 3 single beds. Initially I thought it would be a dormitory type of stay. But they have multiple rooms. It is a budget homestay. They prepare dinner and lunch is you ask for. Prices are at par with Mulu park restaurant.

The food was delicious. Rooms are spacious. Fan ceiling. Beds were comfortable. A 25 minute walk to the Mulu National Park or if a 5 minute ride. They are expanding so expect some construction during the day. Also this is not a luxury stay, but a modest homestay.

We loved our stay. A beautiful, peaceful setting, the price included buffet breakfast and dinner which were tasty, plentiful and catered for vegetarians. The staff were friendly, special call out for Donny, and professional. The accommodation was spacious and clean. The shuttle service to and from the airport and park was reliable, and there was good wifi in the bar/reception area.
