The location is perfect, it is within the national park, so you don't need to wait for the transportation if you have a tour. There are many possibilities of food in the restaurant. The guided tours are interesting and well organized. Laundry is available and returned clothes cleaner than they were when they were new :)

Brenda and James are amazing! They are very knowledgeable and super friendly. They will give amazing recommendations, and are accommodating (even when you need a last minute ride or forget to order breakfast the night before and show up right near the end...)
The rooms do not have AC but the nights cool off and the fan was more than enough for us and I tend to run very warm.
The location was perfect for us, it's a 30 minute walk to the park (or a quick ride) but it was exceptionally quiet and peaceful. We ended up spending a morning reading on the covered porch because it was pouring rain. It was idyllic.

We really enjoyed our stay at D’Cave Homestay. Dina, Robert and their friends were very welcoming and staying with them in the evening for dinner together was like feeling at home. Their advice on tours and how to prepare us were really precious. It was an experience that we will remember as one of the best of our trip to Borneo.

Each cave is different from another and rides to get to them on the long boats added interest and anticipation of what we would find. The Park is very organised with some guides offering more information than others. We are in our 60s, and were able to cover 3 cave excursions in the one and a half days we were there...unforgettable!

Great place to come for a jungle / caving experience.
Great place to come for a jungle / caving experience. Only requires basic fitness and moderate mobility to visit most of the show features. More strenuous/ adventurous options also exist for those who are interested/ daring!

river boat ride to the amazing caves. dont miss the bat flight. lots of walking in the mulu national park. office staff, guides are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. mulu has only 300 houses. there is no town. so the only attraction is the mulu national park, mariott hotel and homestays, cafes ( which are opened occasionally) if you want adventure, time with nature , quiet, astounding sites of caves and sheer size...come to Mulu. oh yes attractive pricing
