Alhamdulillah comfortable stay, each room got aircond, got wifi, basic kitchen appliances, friendly owner. I informed owner we want to check out, he came to see us out with some kuih. Near masjid, 1 min walking distance. Thank u so much, overall it was a pleasant stay.

Beautiful, clean, not much traffic jam even though during holiday season, beautiful landscaping around waterfront of Sungai Raja, Dataran Alor Setar which is so happening at night and nice scenery during day time, beautiful historical building and great history for you to explore. Masjid Zahir is a must visit spot. Don't forget to visit Paddy Museum and Kota Kuala Kedah too.

Average Malaysian town.
Average Malaysian town. Not much to do other than a couple museums/art gallery. I'm there to visit family, but would not go out of my way to take a holiday there. Ramadan bazaar was a highlight, though.
