Mercure Maldives Kooddoo is an adult-only resort with 69 villas available in 6 different categories. Great price on domestic flights helped make the desicion easy. SPA massage 5 day treatment package was just perfect combination, both for skin and muscles. I had Ida every day doing my massages and she was the best. I fell asleep every time, and I came in so tense and nervous because of a interview and test I had to go through. Ida is also very personal and so welcoming and warm it makes the whole experience much better. Then the best for me because I am a snorkeler is the house reef. One of the best in Maldives it even got confirmed by a liveaboard I went on afterwards. The drop is amazing but it qas a bit of a work out getting there from my room 307 because of current and tides. You have to time it correctly and be a good swimmer. After a stressful test and interview I went out and within 45 min I luckily had 70 encounters of black tip sharks amongst the thousands of reef fish.and on that took my breath away a bull shark. Wow wow wow! The buffet was absolutely amazing aswell that I didn't want to try the a la carte at the Italian restaurant because I was afraid to miss something great from the buffet. Themed nights but always one or two dishes that would be different. Don't miss grill or Maldivian evening!!!! Best was the staff, everyone smiling happy and asking you personal questions and remembering you. But also what you order. I love that it is personal and not too posh service.

Ekefaru Inn is situated in Viligili and offers a terrace. This guest house has a garden and free private parking. The guest house features family rooms. Hotel room was very spacious and clean, air condition working + silent! English breakfast (eggs + sausages), toast bread, jam, porridge, tea and coffee. I really enjoyed dinner at the hotel (rice and curry), the chef is fantastic. Only a pool was missing, but then, it's only a 10min walk to the beach.

Facing the beachfront, The Residence Maldives at Dhigurah offers 5-star accommodation in Gaafu Alifu Atoll and features free bikes, outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre. We went to the Residence at Dhigurah for our honeymoon, it was simply superb. Each villa has a private pool, which was perfect for us and our infant son, and we stayed in a sunset villa for a week followed by a lagoon villa for a week. The views from both were phenomenal, the villas were clean and furnished impecably. The food is sensational and considering you have access to multiple dining rooms and bars across Dhigurah and Falhumaafushi, you never get bored as can pick and choose where to have breakfast and dinner. As Maldives islands go, it's pretty expansive in that respect. Staff were extremely friendly, thoughtful, remembered what coffees and wines we were drinking with breakfast and dinner respectively, always lavishing attention on our infant son including getting him fruit and bespoke baby dishes directly from the chef. Overall, it was the best holiday we have ever been on, and we would love to return in future to reminisce about how wonderful our honeymoon was.

Pullman Maldives Maamutaa is an all-inclusive haven located in the Gaafu Alifu atoll. This five-star premium resort spans 18 hectares of lush greenery with 122 villas. The location was simply stunning! The room was super clean and absolutely comfortable. Although there were other guests, it felt so private, as we were the only people on the island. Even without snorkelling, you can see so much marine life while out and about, including shark, stingrays, eagle rays and turtles. The entire complex was well maintained. The food was of great quality, and the staff was kind and ready to help. This property is true paradise!

Providing free WiFi, a sun terrace with a swimming pool, private beach area and garden, Kondey Villas is located in Kondey. This small boutique hotel is very new, and the rooms are furnished in a way that you cannot find in any of the local islands. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. If you are looking for a small local island experience and see another point of view of the Maldives it is really great. We combined this with a couple days of resort experience and it was perfect for us. The rooms are large and and very comfy. There is a small pool right outside of your room.

Offering quiet street views, Suncoral Maldives in Kondey provides accommodation, a garden and a shared lounge. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. It was really great stay In Suncoral. If you like to be remote on great island with beautiful beaches, you've found the place. All the staff is extremely pleasant and will help you with anything. They can arrange snorkeling trips, fishing trips, even diving trips if you're interested. Absolutely recommend and coming back during my next stay in Maldives. 🤙
