The location was perfect for a stay in this part of Malta. Getting there at night from the Airport on foot in thirty minutes. Do not worry if on Google maps you see photos of construction sites - those are outdated photos! It is all built and paved now, nice to walk on (July 2025). Facilities and cleanliness were spot on.

Apartman is near the airport, so we come walking for 15 minute. Also, it was very clean, with all you need. Bad are comformtable. The area is quite, so we have a good sleep.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well equipped - there was even an oven to warm up food. Very comfortable bed. The high ceilings gave the space a lovely sense of airiness. There is also a charming inner courtyard where you can sit comfortably to enjoy a meal or a drink in a cozy atmosphere. The location is very close to the airport - we reached the place by taxi super quickly and it cost only 5 euros. The neighborhood felt safe and the streets were beautiful. In early December everything was already decorated for Christmas, which made our evening walks especially magical and cozy.

this neighbourhood is quite old and noisy, there is nothing to see specifically. It is only to sleep and eat. It's is at the crossroad of almost all destination in Malta so good place for an hotel. But I would suggest to take and hotel next to Valetta or well equipped

Luqa is as close you will get of feeling like being on a movie set somewhere down in Mexico. Nice small friendly community, close to Airport , the Lidl has everything you need to survive the first couple of days on Malta or indefinetly. Very convenient for starters on Malta.

A mixture of village and town, extremely quiet, almost deserted by night ( at least where we stayed), which gives you the possibility of nice walks and sightseeing without being disturbed by noisy crowds. Very well connected to Valletta and other areas, close to the airport. In fact, there are a lot of places around Tarxien where you can get by foot. It gave me the feeling of being stuck in time and I totally adored it and the vibes that not only Tarxien, but entire Malta gives you. I would come back any time - in fact I am already planning a longer trip there. Simply amazing!

Extremely kind and responsive host! He replied immediately to all our questions and was always available. We needed a cooler bag, and the host provided one right away. The maisonette has everything necessary for a longer stay. We were two friends with two children, who were also very happy. I highly recommend this place for accommodation! :)

Booked for the Birgufest and was well worth it. Plenty of music and food all around the area of Birgu. Situated in the heart of Birgu beside the Harbour and restaurants and ships as the Regatta was due. Candlelight festival was marvellous but be warned if going to the Birgufest that the candles are lit on the secondary night of the festival. Our apartment was situated in the heart of Birgu near Victory Square. The Heart of it all. Apartment was perfect and the Maltese perfect too. Enjoy.

The owner is an artist so it's a beautifully decorated house. And at $50 in high season for a room with a balcony what an amazing value. Including a simple breakfast which was just fine. It's not in the city center but it's only one block from a bus that goes directly to the city center and comes every few minutes.
