It is a magnificent hotel, I was in #1927 with excellent views, all the comforts and magnificent attention from all the staff and I would highlight the wonderful attention of Sonia and Dean. I will return and recommend it.

Everything was perfect! From the smooth check-in through the nicely decorated and spacious room to the tasty breakfast, it was a great stay. We picked the hotel because the price was lower than other similar accommodation options in Macau, but it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The beds were especially comfortable, the bathroom was clean and very nice, and the balcony view was awesome. It is also worth mentioning that the staff was extremely welcoming and spoke very good English. A great value for money!

What more can I say? We went to Macau for the Grand Prix weekend and couldn't have been any happier with our choice. We were able to walk to the hotel from the ferry terminal and the hotel itself was amazing; so beautifully appointed and spacious. The pool was awesome and the cafe next to the lobby offered a cheaper food option for when we were on the run. Around a half hour walk to Macau Tower, fifteen to the pit straight entry or ferry terminal and so many other sights to see nearbye.

With an old colonial atmosphere, mixing the portuguese and chinese influences, Macau is huge different from nearby Hong Kong. Of course you have all the Las Vegas vibe or even, closing the eyes, Venice and Paris. Very good restaurants either expensive or rather cheap

Great place for families, couples or singles.
Great place for families, couples or singles. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom - air con in the room makes a much enjoyable stay. If you are a coffee drinker go to 2 floor and ask for an Italian or Brazilian coffee. You will love it. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoy the swimming pool on the 5th floor. A room with a view that you can see Macau and the bridge that links Hong Kong to Zhuhai. Great choices for a variety of restaurants including continental breakfast and dinner. Zhuhai offers a lot to everyone. If you have kids do not miss the opportunity to go to Ocean Park, the bus ride will take approximately an hour from the city centre and it will cost less than 15 pence. The weather is simply gorgeous - it can get very hot in the Summer but because it a semi tropical city the weather is great throughout the year. Great choices for massages, including foot massage, body massage, acupuncture, cupping, Traditional Chinese Medicine, costing a quarter of price anywhere in the world. Also, a hospital can provide with stem cells treatment and other alternative therapy for good value for money.
The restaurants were clean and food was just simply delicious and not expensive at all.
Public transport cost less than 15 pence and most if not all buses have air con, making a very enjoyable journey.
Ocean Park was the highlight for our kids - we can really spend the entire day there and you feel like it is not enough. We have been there twice and we would visit it again on our next trip to Zhuhai.
I strongly recommend a visit to Zhuhai and place that you will certainly want to return to.

Macau is very small.
Macau is very small. But that is in my opinion it's biggest strenght.
You are well able to see all the important places in a day or two.
Very beautiful and interesting history can be seen in "old Macau" island.
Definitelly worth it to check out the Cotai Strip, the Las Vegas of the East.
To me the people felt very nice. The whole place including the places where majority of people lived were spotless and I felt incredibly safe a big contrast to Western Europe where I work.
The only thing I did not like was:
I wanted to visit a local nightclub but everytime I followed the maps I came to a casino.
The only club I found was "adult" oriented.
Do people not party in Macau? Do they just test their luck?

you have the opportunity to experience three different types of environment. The Mainland part, which feels run down and was rather overcrowded with Mainland tourists. This is where you will find most of the historical aspects of Macao. Taipa which feels better in the sense that it feels more modern and is the place to live if you are doing better in life Coloane is the best place to escape the crowds and has a more village-type feel.

Zhuhai is convenient to get to and from to Hong Kong and Macau.
There are many restaurants in the Charming Ladies Mall next to the hotel.
We had four dinners there. The dishes were delicious and inexpensive, especially in the restaurant located next to the entrance to the Immigration/Custom building. I can't remember the restaurant name as it is in Mandarin. It serves great Teochew food like braised goose and beef kuay teow. Best of all the prices are very reasonable.
We ate dinner there 3 nights in a row.
Don't forget to eat the excellent Portuguese egg tarts in the Mall. You buy 3 and get 1 free for only 18CNY.
Travelling around Zhuhai by taxi is easy and relatively cheap.
