A perfect hotel if you need somewhere close to the airport for an early morning flight. The room (15) was large, extremely modern even by European standards, great bathroom, fridge and exceptionally clean. In fact, the best room we had in Madagascar for cleanliness and comfort. We did not eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food.

Friendly welcome, airport transfer (50k ariary), close to airport. We booked the top floor suite which had really great view, mosquito net.

Completly new hotel, kit of space, nice design. Sleeping there you will support young people in their education, Don Bosco has global network for these kind of schools giving children an opertunity to a get a training in jobs. On the weekend absolutly calm.

Our stay at Villa Claire in Tulear was impeccable! With a group of 7 friends we decided to spend some days there and celebrate the NYE. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and shown around the house. It is a really nice villa with all the equipment that you need. The design of the house is extraordinary with a lot of love for detail. The huge pool with a lot of lounging areas is the perfect place to relax and calm down. Also the beautiful garden is well maintained and clean. For our group there was plenty of space to spread out and take some chill days off in pure luxury. We also had the pleasure to meet the owner Thierry and his wife, which are two lovely people that helped us right away whenever we had questions or needed some help. We will definitely come back to Villa Claire if we return back to Tulear.

Perfectly located right in middle of the city, and not loud at all even though I was a bit sceptic about all Bars and club which is not so far. Hause is clean and has access to all you need if you cook. Bett was hard but I slept very good on it. WiFi work super well. Absolutely recommend if you stay few days in Toliara and want to feel a bit like Home.

Le Kaboss is a great value of money. The house is beautifull mix of traditional marocan style and modern fixtures. I love the terrace with private jacuzzi and can just swim from the beach outside in warm seawater. I wish l could extend my stay but will surely come back.

Always bargain, no matter what. Then tip the vendor generously. Your extra dollar in tip goes a long way for them.
As everywhere else, don't give the pickpocketers any opportunities.
Keep a wand of 100 Arirary bills for the children along your route. After all you can get about 42 or 43 of them for a dollar. 300 Ariary can by them a good snack.
Toliara is a city that never sleeps.
And don't forget to visit MANGILY beach. 1 hour away, and worth the ride. ICI PISCINE has a nice restaurant. RAZA, the owner, is a great guy. You just ask and he makes it happen. He has a great lodge with swimming pool there. Very affordable.
