The whole experience was very pleasant. The staff were incredibly friendly & helpful, definitely the highlight of my stay (special shoutout to Faiza). The room was very tidy and clean, as someone who often brings her own bedsheets, I was so happy to see how clean the bedding looked. Location is also very good for anyone looking to stay close to the airport.

I already went to the hotel with my colleagues for a conference, and I liked the venue so much that I wanted to take my kids there, too. The place is large and very welcoming. The view of the pool, gardens and sea is really breathtaking. The rooms are large and comfortable. The included breakfast is really good and the service is excellent. There are two little things I did not expect, which disturbed me a little but would not change my positive opinion of the place. First, during the check-in, I was asked to add a further amount than what was proposed on my booking, as a deposit for any extra service I may ask for. Because I wasn't ready for that, I didn't have the full amount on me, so that was a bit awkward and uncomfortable for me. I had to sit in the lounge and figure out a way to have the missing amount transferred to my bank account. On the check-out, I was told that they'd return the deposit amount to my account, which hasn't happened yet, so I'll have to wait and see. I would have appreciated knowing about this procedure here on booking.com to avoid the unpleasant surprise on the spot. The second thing was a small leak in the toilet. I would have appreciated some sort of a mop or cleaning towel ready and available in the bathroom, meanwhile the leak gets fixed, so that I would manage the leak before it built up and avoid having to ask or wait for the hotel cleaner to show up. Having said this, I'm still very happy with my stay at the hotel, rank it 10, would definitely go back there and recommend it to my relatives and friends. Thank you!

Tangier is unique, with friendly people and a strong sense...

Tangier is unique, with friendly people and a strong sense of safety. Visitors can easily blend into the local population, as residents mind their own business and are accustomed to seeing tourists. Learning a few bargaining tips will go a long way. There are also many places to visit and explore.

Having to pay an additional €277 for a room we never used. This additional charge was because we were not allowed stay in same room because we were not married. I know it’s hard to believe. Ps Never used the second room.

Tanger [Ṭanjah (طنجة)]Ville Railway Station is very central. Exiting onto a large plaza, the RN16 passing E/W. Lots of Taxis, Hotels, Cafés, Restaurants, in a few hundred meters. A short walk or cheap taxi to the beaches on Bale de Tanger, Strait of Gibraltar, the meeting of Mediterranean and Atlantic. A cosmopolitan port city (pop 1.3m) mixing African, French, Spanish, and Portuguese cultures. Like the rest of Maroc, it is vibrant historic medina, Citadel, Kasbah, Mosque 1684 (جامع القصبة),Dar al-Makhzen, souks, Petit Socco (سوق الدخيل), whitewashed streets, along with the food and the people that will stay with you, long after you have left! Worth reading about the history, the artists and writers, and famous events and people that have shaped the Tanger of today. American Legation Museum (المفوضية الأميركية في طنجة)(1821), Cape Spartel Lighthouse 1864 (5° 55' W) and the Caves of Hercules.
