Sri LankaWe heard this hotel was newly built, and we truly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The big, comfy beds were a dream, and the staff’s generosity and warm smiles every time we walked in made us feel instantly welcome.
The location is perfect — there’s a beautiful lake right next to the property, and it’s just a couple of minutes away from the park. The breakfast spread is absolutely to die for, with something delicious for everyone.
Overall, we felt our money was very well spent at Waters Edge Hotel. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a wonderful setting.

The guesthouse is away from the noisy and bustling center, but within easy reach using the PickMe App for inexpensive and fast transportation. Coffee and tea are always available and shops are in close vicinity. I also liked the stroll down to the river. With so much nature around one might forget to be still in Colombo. I am looking forward to coming back here and enjoy the hospitality. 🙂

New ZealandIt's clean, spaciou and very well maintained with a nice ambience. It is further quiet and peaceful for one to get a good night's sleep after a hectic outing.
There 's a nice kitchen pantry and dining area with all the white wares and dinner wares. One can even pre-order breakfast or dinner in advance.
The property manager and caretaker, Rajiv was exceptional with his attitude and service. Humble, proactive and eager to help you can always count on him.
The place is just off the road easy to reach by foot.
Had the opportunity to meet the owner of the property Jay on our last day. He was a very warm, friendly and joyous.
Thanks Jay for allowing us to stay in your house and our deep regards to Rajiv for all his services.

Lovely town.
Lovely town. Sri Lankan government buildings are located in this town. Citizenship and Immigration, Visa and NIC offices are here. There is also the Diyawanna Lake with board walks, bicycle routes, Parks and walk ways, perfect sceneries. Easy to get around town just by walking. About 30 minutes drive from Colombo Port City and One Galle Face Mall. About 45 minutes drive from Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there

Rajagirya is not too much of a tourist destination, traffic...
Rajagirya is not too much of a tourist destination, traffic and roads are chaotic and walking is unpleasant if not dangerous.
Walking in a wetland park nearby, observing monitor lizzards was relaxing.
Getting around is by Tuk-tuk, which is not pleasant, uber rides in other vehicles were difficult for short rides.

Malabe is a busy semi-urban area, just far enough from the really busy crowded streets of Colombo to enable visitors to walk along lanes and between paddy fields, and get a taste of life in Sri Lanka outside of the city. Nearby, the small marsh, the "Chandrika Kumarathunga Mawatha Wetland" - beside a canal and well-cared-for "jogging track" - offers a lovely selection of bird life and glimpses of the huge water monitors swimming in the canal. To see even more wildlife of Sri Lanka, spend a couple of days inland visiting Sinharaja Rainforest or Yala National Park for a safari.

This 3-Level Apartment has 3 Bed Rooms and is located in a secure and convenient location in Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka. The Hosts were quite friendly and responsive to your needs. The accommodation is well-equipped for a long-term stay as well. All Appliances and Equipment were in working order. The Washing Machine helped me to travel with less clothes. The Accommodation had a separate entrance with access to the Electric Roller Door. The 3rd Level had the Laundry with access to a Roof Top terrace where clothes could be dried and having a 360 degree view of the surroundings incl. high rise buildings in Colombo.
