This is a beautiful resort on a huge plot of land beside the river. The new swimming pool overlooking the river was superb. The resort is laid out with lots of amenities, games, a gym, etc. to pass the time. There are four free shuttles into and back from town every day. The staff were fantastic and catered to every need. Huge effort is also put into maintaining the resort to a high standard. The food was the best we had in Luang Prabang. The accommodation is very comfortable, ranging from affordable options to more luxurious. This resort is perfect if you want a more upmarket retreat away from the town centre.

Great place, fitness was nice, breakfast was very good and nice to use the bicycle to take the bridge over the river to the center. The staff spike English very well!

The host was super responsive and helpful. The stay was close walking distance to everything in Luang Prabang area. Most activities can be booked from wither this hotel or nearby. Their breakfast is nice. The room was super clean and maintained well

A fairy tale town in a lovely country. One of the world's best (and I've seen more than my share), Such lovely people. The power of a smile!!!
You'll quickly recognise the better eateries, of which there are plenty for all tastes. Bouang was one.
If you want photographs - and you will - just be patient: crowds clear, clouds clear, and you will get your lifetime best photos!

A wonderful place with a lovely atmosphere set in beautiful surroundings. There are numerous high quality restaurants and cafes which won't break the bank. Make sure you climb Phousi Mountain for the sunrise, rather than wait for sunset, as it is far quieter. Other places to visit apart from the main Wats (which are lovely) and the Palace, is the craft Centre, OK Pop Tok, where you can watch weaving and silk making and the small but interesting Museum of Ethnology. Be prepared for large, noisy coach groups at the Palace.

Arrived in Luang Prabang after weeks traveling around South East Asia.
Considered traveling around Laos but decided to wind down, relax, and enjoy the one location. Couldn't have picked a better spot.
It is calm, unhurried, relaxed, people exceptionally nice, food excellent.
We had no hassle, market traders didn't 'push' nor did tour operators, very pleasant. Main street shopping enjoyable, with lots of good restaurants and bars.
We arranged a private boat trip to the Buddha cave, going in the afternoon when there were very few people. timing it so we arrived back in Luang Prabang to catch sunset on Mekong while onboard.
Boat trip up Mekong a pure pleasure.
Luang Prabang is very walk able, not very big, but we found it absolutely lovely to visit and would happily add on to next itinerary especially when looking for a quiet place.
