The hotel staff is lovely. She welcomed me perfectly even though it was already 2am, and thanks to her help I got a taxi to Tashkent at a very reasonable price. This hotel has everything you need, a kitchen, a bed, a bathroom, etc. The rooms are very clean.

The hotel is great! Very friendly staff, if you need a taxi they will call, need change money they are happy to help. Whatever advice guys were very nice and helpful. Very good restaurant with transitional Kazakh cuisine. They have an amazing spa in the hotel and very good gym.

Very helpful people all over Shymkent.
Very helpful people all over Shymkent. Everyone was helpful from people on the sidewalks to staff in the shops to bus drivers. It was such a welcome feeling I don't have words to express my experiences. I saw Kazakh people as a proud and honourable nation with love and respect for guests from other countries. Despite the language barrier Everyone went all the way to help and guide me wherever I went.
I loved it and hope all the other travellers enjoy Shymkent as well.

The city is quite beatiful and faithful to traditional architecture which I liked most. The streets were clean and people were friendly. However, it seems a bit out out-of-date in terms of serving at the department stores and bazaars.
