The hosts (the lady and her son) were super friendly and was quick to answer all questions. The place was within walking distance from Almaty Airport. Shops are nearby and the bus stop was only a 10-minute walk away. The place was super comfy with a kitchen and a bedroom. Internet connection was super fast.

Location and Transport
Almaty International Airport is situated 11 miles (18 kilometres) from central Almaty. A taxi from the airport will cost around KZT 3,000 but you’ll need to negotiate a price beforehand as there are no meters. A cheaper option is to take a bus with lines 79, 86, 92 and 106 operating during the day, and Line 3 operating during the night. Journeys take around 40 minutes and tickets can be purchased from the driver.

Almaty has great culture and great people.
Almaty has great culture and great people. Everyone is friendly and doesn't mind helping you. There are a lot of great things to see and do in Almaty however, you would need a least a week to enjoy a majority of the city. I only spent two full days there and now wish i spent more days in Almaty rather than Astana.

Stylish, very comfortable, with high degree of sophistication. Studio with kitchenette was a very practical setting - could be perfect spot for short summer vacation in ALA and/or vicinity.
